Warren Weirding

Tribal Sorcery — Goblin

Target player sacrifices a creature. If a Goblin is sacrificed this way, that player puts two 1/1 black Goblin Rogue creature tokens into play, and those tokens gain haste until end of turn.

Interesting choice going without , just a preference for Teysa?

The Hunted above are great options.

Plague of Vermin won't force opponents to take tokens but if they don't and you grab say 20, that'll be brutal. Since you gain life it should be a good card for you no matter the outcome.

Acorn Catapult, Warren Weirding, Tombstone Stairwell exist, I guess.

Gallows at Willow Hill seems neat. You'll need to make sure you have a decent number of humans to make it work consistently. With 19 creatures I'd say if ~10 are human strongly consider it.

Genesis Chamber and Infernal Genesis should do good work.

Hey lobsternips! Thought I'd jump in and give you my take on what you've got going on. Your noncreature spells look fantastic, not much I would take out, but if you can find a way to fit in some creature recursion in Rise of the Dark Realms or Thrilling Encore with your mass creature destruction in dictate or Killing Wave . Also bounce-type effects like Conjurer's Closet could make use of your etb effects, you'd definitely see some usefulness there. The only problem I see with this deck is its SUPER heavy into red, there are some non-red Goblins out there, but you'd basically be playing a Red deck splashing white and black for support. However, Goblins are funny and mean just like Negan.

As for creatures, I love what you're doing. Lots of synergy, and I love the Goblin tribal theme. Also, love the Kiki-Jiki inclusion, plus with snoop you sorta just win.

Hope I helped some, I probably didn't seeing as I gave more inclusion suggestions rather than cuts. If you decide on doing one thing like "Go Wide" or "Go Tall", adjust your cards to reflect that. Aside from that good luck on your deckbuilding!

I was thinking of old krenko, from back when I was still mucking about with goblin lists.

For rakdos aggro, Munitions Expert is the most important as (functionally) extra copies of Goblin Grenade . Earwig Squad and Sling-Gang Lieutenant somewhere in the 75.

Run some tests with spike jester and see if you like it there- I've played it in the past and its fine. Not amazing, just fine. Jund Hackblade is similar, but more conditional, and Goblin Deathraiders is bad. Thats the multicolour goblins covered- its quite unexciting. Mad Auntie is a lord that doesn't offer evasion, and is therefore better as any of the red lords, but might be worth it in a hyper-budget list.

Auntie's Snitch and Squee, Goblin Nabob are an interesting card advantage engine (which is hated out by the same cards as dredge), but can make for a fun Zombie Infestation list. Stinkdrinker Bandit would be good if enough good goblin rogues existed. Warren Weirding is an interesting hybrid removal/token spell, but still sub-par.

With the meta up in the air as far as competitive modern goes, I don't feel too confident getting more specific than 'playtest'.

Stoneforge means plans for a t3 Batterskull are a must, as well as a plan for Ensnaring Bridge (hence me looking at Angrath's Rampage or Rakdos Charm ), but past that just playtest and see what you like. See if any rakdos burn lists show up on a metagame site for you to pinch the sideboard/spells from.

I mean, I'm someone who'd see if Skirk Prospector / Knucklebone Witch / Experimental Frenzy was playable. I'm not sure you should be taking advice from me.

Xica on Suggestions for Midrange Goblins?

This is a big fat aggro deck, it looks like ponza top end without the land denial package. (but it goes wide instead of tall)

You miss out on the best goblins:
- Sensation Gorger - is basically a dark confidant in the right deck
- Goblin Chainwhirler - is AWESOME - yes it kills tokens. More importantly its a 3/3 with FIRST STRIKE for 3 mana. If you have lord(s) out it basically kills anything without risk to itself. And due to the fact that you can Lightning Bolt after first strike damage is dealt, it can extend the utility of burn spell as removal, taking down even titans or wurmcoil engine and the like, without taking a single point of damage.

Goblins are probably the tribe that has the strongest non-creature support cards, cards like Goblin Grenade , Warren Weirding , or the not explicitly worded, but still very relevant The Flame of Keld

If i were in your place i would try to build red goblins with a light black splash for Warren Weirding & sidebaord + disruption - and try to figure out a way to reliably have a 4+ power to get the discount on Bolt Bend (be it by utilizing lords, or some other route)

Maybe Warren Weirding if you are considering running tokens?

@mukismuk It's a reasonable option, and I like that it can push damage with Angler, but otherwise I don't think I'd often want to tutor it over Warren Weirding or Tarfire

Looks pretty cool. If you are trying to maintain a lower budget but love the goblins rakdos goblins are pretty good too.you get things like Warren Weirding Fodder Launch Frogtosser Banneret Spike Jester and many many more, look into if you thinj you might like it. Apostle's Blessing might be a solid sideboard card, and I dont know for sure but Infernal Plunge seems like a good fit in here. 2 last things, Tarfire Boggart Shenanigans are both good too.

Mutant changeling goblin. Having fun with combat tricks. I have a playset of Auntie's Hovel and I plan on brewing a splash black sideboard for protection from red. Not there yet, but I think Warren Weirding and Weirding Shaman may help.
