Commander / EDH Midrange Mono-Green Ramp

Citridon

I'm switching this deck's color segment with my Werewolf Fight Club. I've been closing this in from Naya good stuff to a deck focused on big, non-Infinite mana the last couple revisions. The werewolves wanted access to white, so I'm using the swap to focus a little on big X spells, including a light hydra element (new commander: Rosheen Meanderer)

Well, Commander 2020 happened and they printed Zaxara, the Exemplary. The deck has been getting more and more Hydra focused, especially with the additions of Unbound Flourishing and Gargos, Vicious Watcher. With the increased Hydra focus, swapping to Zaxara is too tempting to avoid. So now the deck is Sultai. Here's the last Gruul Version it had.

I've been enjoying the Zaxara build quite a bit, but then I hit a fun standard deck I've been wanting to play the core of in Commander. The combination of Bootleggers' Stash & Stimulus Package was particularly fun and Commander lets me add in Prosperous Partnership as a synergy piece. Once I started thinking of adding in the capitalism package, I realized Rocco, Cabaretti Caterer would let me get ways to find the pieces in my command zone (via Moon-Blessed Cleric) and was also an X cost spell for some of the synergies. Then the idea had rooted in my brain and wouldn't let go, so now we're going back to Naya, allowing the hydra to eat its own tail.

This deck is looking to generate frankly absurd amounts of mana. There is ample ramp, topping out in several ways to stockpile mana (OG Omnath, Leyline Tyrant, and Bootleggers' Stash) as well as mana doublers (Nissa and Zhur-Ta Ancient). With this, you can generate huge amounts of mana for burn spells, token generators, and hydras. All powered by mana capitalism. In keeping with its capitalist overtones, the deck has ways to turn money into working paid citizens. At the very top end, if needed, there's a bit of a combo and some synergies. Stimulus Package allows you to turn treasure into citizens. In combination with Bootleggers' Stash, this lets every land produce a 1/1. A Prosperous Partnership allows your new business partner to employ those citizens making more money.... which you can use to hire more workers! Capping all that off Mondrak, Glory Dominus doubles token output, which means Partnership taps 3 creatures to make 2 treasure, which stimulus package turns into 4 new creatures; netting +1 creature every loop you can make infinite creatures, the profit from which can make you infinite treasures. Since Mondrak provides a sacrifice outlet this means you can use the infinite mana to pull any number of creatures from your deck with Rocco, who invites everyone to the company picnic.

I'll also be keeping a list of "favorite moments" the deck has made:

-Chandra's Ignition + Mycoloth + Thromok the Insatiable : I have ignition and Mycoloth in hand, and play Mycoloth. It devours Marath and some saprolings, getting 8 +1/+1 counters. Next turn I draw Thromok, hum "The Circle of Life" and have Thromok devour 9 creatures, coming out an 81/81. Then he ignites. It's still the most non-infinite damage that's occurred in our group.
