• **Introduction: **

"KOMA!! come out of your hiding! or does the greats serpent fear a rematch?"

  • The deck:

Face your titanic opponents with death and poison. Almost every creature in this deck has deathtouch, as your commander has great synergy with this ability: hit often with them and they will start poisoning your opponent's wounds. Once the infection gets a hold, proliferating them to death will hardly be an issue...

Fynn brings quite the unique and dangerous payoff of turning deathtouch into poison: 2. This means that for every deathtouch minion we attack with, unless they block it, resulting in the almost sure demise of such blocker, the opponent gets 2 poison counters. And remember, with 10 poison counters, a player dies. So hit often and hit fast, and you will close out games in almost no time.

  • The deck's strengths:

This deck is nightmarish for battlecruiser-style decks, and very annoying for control decks to face, as one tends to deploy a few high-value creatures and the other even fewer, higher-value creatures or no creatures at all. Combos can and may also get pounded by this odd way of fighting, as they will have to throw out otherwise important spells to not die.

  • The deck's weaknesses:

We have an innate weakness to creature removal, so if control decks manage to stabilize, we become pretty much toothless, making it a very one-sided experience. On the other hand, wide token-ish boards and aggressive decks can also give us trouble since they can throw away creatures to block our poisoning attackers, so we'll have to find ways to take them out with unblockability, such as Rogue's Passage and proliferating our way to their death.
