Tried to make a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Deck, at least in concept. It’s a rule zero deck, I wanted to include 4 copies of ninja blades one for each turtle. The concept was to have 4 regular turtles in the deck. Maybe they become ninja’s with the ninja blades (hoping to ask a friend to alter each blade to look like one of the 4 weapons of our green mutant heroes) or more likely a turtle or two get discarded into the SEWER (thanks in the comments!) by the blades for big damage or by other means. Once in the SEWER the goal is to have an ordinary turtle get covered/exiled in mimeoplasm ooze and become mutated hero to win the game! The rest of the deck is built around the TMNT universe and revolve around dealing combat damage to synergize with the ninja blades, some graveyard/sewer support for mimeoplasm, and a little bit of artifact synergy as some artifacts are food and I’m going to call them Pizza when they enter. Some are a bit of a stretch (Splinter being a beast whisperer lol) but overall I’m pretty happy with the tie ins to the world while still being fun and hopefully able to keep up at the table. Let me know if you have any recommendations or want to just complement me on how flavourful some of the cards are at relating to the TMNT world!! Like the Elder Brain being Krang or Stockman having a mouser/myr! I’m pretty proud lol.
