Teysa being rather popular, there's not really too much to say about this deck. My goal was to utilize her abilities in my own way, and I'm aware I'm basically reinventing the wheel at this point. It's a bit of a slow burner, and the deck can be summed up into about 6 different categories: Sacrifice outlets, death triggers, sacrifice targets, Infinite recursion, counterplay, and utilities.

Sacrifice outlets matter enough that I run some that don't do anything too impactful for the sole purpose of just having a way to kill my creatures. If you're left without an outlet, the deck falls apart very quickly. I will just go over the notable ones: Fanatical Devotion protects against kill spells, Ghoulish Procession can turn our sacrifices into more creatures, Viscera Seer and Woe Strider scry, and Vampiric Rites draws cards.

Death triggers are quintessential to a Teysa deck. I run Zulaport Cutthroat, but I also run effects that are essentially duplicates of this effect, like Bastion of Remembrance, Blood Artist, and Cruel Celebrant, for good measure. One of my favorites is Athreos, God of Passage, because our opponent has to pay a total of 6 life to keep the creatures dead. I also run a lot of card draw, like Midnight Reaper, and Grim Haruspex. Teysa, Orzhov Scion can be fun, as most creatures we run are black, including the tokens.

Sacrifice targets is where this deck gets fun. Sometimes, the good targets are cards which bring friends, such as Sling-Gang Lieutenant and Haunted Dead. Self-recurring targets can also work wonders: Brood of Cockroaches and Endless Cockroaches return themselves to your hand after dying while Reassembling Skeleton, Razorlash Transmogrant, Bloodsoaked Champion, and Oathsworn Vampire can be brought out directly from the graveyard. These are good to help keep an engine going.

Speaking of engines, the engine can reach infinite status. Pitiless Plunderer + Reassembling Skeleton , Bloodsoaked Champion + Pitiless Plunderer , or Oathsworn Vampire + Pitiless Plunderer equal an infinite recursion engine, provided a free sacrificial outlet and Teysa or Pawn of Ulamog are also on the field. Sacrifice Skeleton or Vampire and you are rewarded with enough mana to bring them back immediately.

This deck has a lot to offer in terms of counterplay; Despark, Vindicate, and Dire Tactics are all good examples of answers in this deck. Damn can help reset the board. Martyr's Bond, combined with enough sacrifice outlets, can dissolve opposing board states.

Teysa, while a little cookie-cutter, is still plenty fun. Being able to stack several effects on top of one another for a very powerful sacrifice can be quite exciting!
