I am 150% for gimmicks and I have wanted to make an Investigation deck for a while. However, you don't need to play bad cards just to feed your gimmick. I am talking primarily about Jace's Scrutiny, Warriors' Lesson, and some that don't fit your theme like Arborback Stomper or Rishkar's Expertise (a good card, but not well used in this deck), or Tezzeret's Ambition, trade those out for more copies of Tireless Tracker or more control, like Press for Answers or Daring Sleuth  Flip. Ok...here's a few more ideas...if you go full 4 of Ongoing Investigation, then add in 4 Whirler Rogue. He comes with 2 extra bodies, potentially 3 Clue tokens each attack eventually guaranteed clue tokens by making things unblockable. Also, to consider Lodestone Myr, and Broodstar or Qumulox.

Then, I remembered Precursor Golem, who copies a spell for each golem, and could quickly get a lot of clue tokens with Confront the Unknown or Jace's Scrutiny. This can go bonkers when paired with Mechanized Production, because the way its worded, it doesn't even need to be attached to the artifact that causes you to win. So, put it on a Precursor Golem, upkeep makes a second Precursor Golem, then cast something like Survive the Night, copy it twice for each Golem, a total of 12 Clue tokens; win on upkeep because of Clues.

I know a whole bunch of Clue tokens with Ghirapur AEther Grid could take over a game. When thinking of other things clue tokens can do, I thought Throne of Geth is one of the more unique effects that sacrifices artifacts, and having lots of proliferation of poison/loyalty/energy counters would make it interesting. But, I realized this is likely too slow.

I also thought of Clock of Omens, but I don't know what artifact you'd want to be untapping repeatedly in a turn.

Anyway...I'm just brainstorming.

Jace's Ingenuity is probably superior to Pore Over the Pages, but unlikely what you're looking for. You might want Confirm Suspicions, since it might result in more card draw? But, I would probably go with Scroll of Origins, since, if you get it down early, it'll keep the cards flowing through the rest of the game.

Also, Reliquary Tower, Venser's Journal, Minamo Scrollkeeper, and Graceful Adept also all have Spellbook-like abilities. The tower is probably the best to include.

It's unlikely they'll be very good here, but Descendant of Kiyomaro, and Kiyomaro, First to Stand are in your colors. What about Soramaro, First to Dream, Ivory Crane Netsuke and Empyrial Plate, or Kefnet the Mindful?

Also, I vote replace your Jace's Scrutiny and Expose Evil with Cowed by Wisdom.

Have you considered Anointed Procession- it would double your clues and your soldiers from Ulvenwald Mysteries every time a new one came into play. You could also run a couple Mechanized Production as well. That can probably steal you a win here and there... the amount of clues you could generate would be pretty insane.

Also, with all those clues, how about Tamiyo's Journal. It's a free clue every turn (or two with the Illuminator out, or 4 with him and the procession) and you can then search your deck by sacking 3 of them... which pumps your Tracker or gives you 3 soldiers (or 6 soldiers) and gives you any card you need... all that costs no mana.

I think you could probably swap out the Jace's Scrutiny, Bound by Moonsilver, and the Graf Mole. The mole gives extra life- which is nice] but not necessary, the scrutiny saves you from 4 damage, but just for a single turn, and the moonsilver is a temporary fix.

You could go +3 processions, +2 Journals, and +1 Production. I know it bumps your curve up a little, but I also think it increases the power level of your deck.

If you're not looking to make those changes, you could add a Call for Unity. With as much clue sacking as your doing (or lands or whatever to the angelic purge), you will be able to trigger revolt every turn. And then you board state gets really out of control. Soldier tokens get to be real threats and your flyers can end the game quickly.

Just a few ideas. I hope they help.

I don't think you need 4 Inspiring Statuary. Each one after the first is basically a dead draw. Also +1 Expose Evil over Jace's Scrutiny because it basically does the same thing but better.

My bad, got it confused with Trail of Evidence. I still believe you need more investigation. Maybe more cards like Press for Answers such as Expose Evil, Confirm Suspicions, Survive the Night, or Jace's Scrutiny.
