Creature Base Show

1-2 Drops:

• Birds of Paradise and Noble Hierarch help ramp into our bigger creatures and fix our mana
• Hope of Ghirapur can buy time against combo decks and delay board wipes
• Gaddock Teeg shuts down key cards like Collected Company, Cryptic Command or Ad Nauseam
• Saffi Eriksdotter protects our other creatures
• Selfless Spirit serves the same purpose although it's not searchable
• Thalia, Guardian of Thraben slows down spell based decks

3 Drops:

• Geist of Saint Traft presents a fast clock and is hard to get rid of
• Kira, Great Glass-Spinner counters enemy removal spells
• Reki, the History of Kamigawa lets us draw cards
• Thalia, Heretic Cathar slows down creature based decks
• Vendilion Clique disrupts the opponent's hand

4 Drops:

• Gisela, the Broken Blade shines against creature based decks and aggro
• Polukranos, World Eater is a huge threat and also serves as a manasink + removal
• Thrun, the Last Troll is amazing against Control
• Venser, Shaper Savant can bounce annoying cards like Ensnaring Bridge or act as a Remand

5-6 Drops:

• Sigarda, Host of Herons presents a fast clock in the air and counters staples like Liliana of the Veil
• Dragonlord Ojutai generates card advantage as well as being another huge hexproof threat
• Dragonlord Dromoka shuts down counterspells and can get you back into the game in an Aggro matchup if you can get it out in time

• Path to Exile is our hit-all removal of choice and gets rid of almost any threat in the modern format
