Long ago (circa 2010) I built my first real EDH deck, a token deck briefly captained by Jacques le Vert and quickly upgraded to Rith, the Awakener. Over the years, the Rith list underwent its share of tweaks and updates but endured as a monument to the unpolished, battlecruiser, "card type-matters" decks of my early EDH days. By the end of the decade, I took stock of the changing nature of commander and decided to start over with a fresh take.

This deck keeps the heavy hitters coming. By silly self-imposed rule, every nonland card is multicolored and many of the creatures are legendary. This goes back to the Rienne gold-tribal days, but even now I like having a home for the dispossessed commander wannabe legends in my collection.
