Fair, I see now. Thanks for revealing that a free 5/5 is the reason you have it in the deck, good point...

I think Hajar, Loyal Bodyguard would be a worthy inclusion for sure, even just 1 or 2

I've been testing out Hajar, Loyal Bodyguard and Loran of the Third Path in my Samut list and they have both been working out well.

I've been wanting a Selfless Spirit type effect that could be searched for with Captain Sisay for a while now, and while Hajar is a little more limited in what it can protect it still protects the important creatures. Hajar being 2 CMC has also let it fit nicely into a number of mana curve situations. The +1/+0 power boost from Hajar's ability has also been relevant because it lets you kill an opponent with a Swords equipped Samut with just two attack phases instead of three.

Loran of the Third Path is a straight up better Reclamation Sage. It is removal that can be tutored for with Sisay, a human that can be bounced with Kogla, and it can rack up a good amount of card draw with Samut and Seedborn Muse being able to untap it. I'm not the biggest fan of draw effects also giving opponents cards, but at least it is only one opponent getting a card for each card you draw so you can play politics and choose who gets that benefit.
