Gorex, the Tombshell is a passion project of mine built over an obsession worked, on and off over the years.

Designed to discard for maximum value, such as reanimation and value through reducing your opponents hands, as well as creating zombies, or other tokens to generate field presence making it more difficult for your opponents to make choices.

Generate card advantage above rate using Gorex’s above average mana cost. For example, Morbid Curiosity sacrifices Gorex to draw us 8 cards for 3 mana. Gorex in most cases should only cost 2 mana to cast!
We also generate advantage by discarding creatures to gain effects without having to lose the creatures due to Gorex putting the cards back in our hand as Gorox attacks.

For flexibility, keep in mind that your toolbox card to get rid of things that black can’t get rid of usually (such as non-creature artifacts and enchantments) is Argentum Masticore, as it can destroy permanents equal to or less than the converted mana cost of the discarded card associated with it’s effect.

The finishers are mass tokens or particular creatures, such as Sutured Ghoul, or Gray Merchant of Asphodel.
