Quiet Speculation

Sorcery

Search target player's library for up to three cards with flashback and put them into that player's graveyard. Then the player shuffles his or her library.

Rasaru I understand what you mean with the tutors if your play group doesn’t use them. In the event you do add them, they really help with getting Quiet Speculation and combo-ing with Temporal Mastery. As for overloading rift, it is actually hard to do in this deck. Most games will end with me having 6-7 lands in play because you need very little mana in your opening hand to get the deck to work. A 1 or 2 land hand is still viable with my build. Consuming Tide is still a must though because it does so much work.

I’m not the biggest fan of the equipments but feel free to run them if you like them. I get why they’re in the deck.

I haven’t had to worry about decking but I can see an issue if an opponent is using a mill or wheels deck. You could always tech in a Thassa's Oracle.

As for your tutor targets for Intuition, it depends on the board state and timing of the game. If there’s an archenemy the player you pick could give you the card you want while filling your grave. More often than not you’ll be able to choose 3 of a similar card to get a version to your hand. If Demilich hasn’t been a part of the game yet I will usually select it as 1 of the 3.

Also, kuddos on Curate, I’m removing Telling Time for it right now!

It pains me Methin85 because I already own the card, but I wasn't able to justify its place. My reasoning behind this is I simply don't have enough creatures to feel the benefit, no consistent way to cast them from the grave like with cards Gisa and Geralf and lastly the most expensive creature I have is my commander himself at 5 mana.

If I were to aim for maxing out my decks power I would probably get cards such as Demonic Tutor and Personal Tutor ; but I wanted to keep the deck on a budget and there is something charming about cards such as Mystical Teachings and Quiet Speculation being my search cards because I could actually make an argument as to why they are better in my deck compared to the most used tutor cards. I just have to hope now that they make more powerful instant and sorcery based zombie token generator cards going forward which is concerning :s

Quiet Speculation would be great for this. Nice deck!

I was wondering if you thought about using any of these; Impulse, Quiet Speculation, Deliberate, Careful Study,Tolarian Winds .

It looks like you're trying to delay before going wide with tokens. Windborn Muse and the new Archon of Absolution might be more useful than the Crackling Drake or the Wall of Stolen Identity in delaying. Sun Titan might also be worth cutting for something like Kykar, Wind's Fury since you probably want more spells than permanents.

Feeling of Dread can help you delay early game and tap down blockers later when you swing out. Marshaling Cry also helps with a go-wide strat. Insult / Injury could be interesting, as well. A little pricier, but Waves of Aggression combos here, as well. Does Outlaws' Merriment or Assemble the Legion work better than Improbable Alliance here?

Quiet Speculation is a tutor for you (or hate against an opponent when combined with something like Purify the Grave). Catalyst Stone also helps with this, and pairs well with your Backdraft Hellkite and Past in Flames.

@king-saproling: Thanks. Just renamed the deck to clarify what Todoroki is. & added some more stuff in. I've also 2 Decks I'll handle myself. The rest, I'd like just one last form of advice in some way if you're still willing; excellent choices BTW. :D: I'd actually like your thoughts on...

: Even w/ so much for going for it in the upcoming THEROS: BEYOND DEATH, I just wanted this deck to stay on the Concept of Nature & Artifice as an allying Duo as a theme. 33 Cards over, all that is needed is to keep the philosophy of the deck while shredding 33 of those cards to 100 Cards.

: 17 Cards. But I've also some things to note: If I had to start the 17 cuts: they'll be the following: Arcbound, Spark Double (What to Clone?), Hammerfist Giant (It's like a one use card...), Docent of Perfection  Flip (Same abilities in general as the Front Side? Not sold.), Quiet Speculation (W/ so few Flashback Cards now, this may actually Warrant a Cut.)

That's 5 Cuts IMO. I'll leave it to you for what you believe should be cut. These are just my thoughts. What about yours?

: Yep. This deck. I ultimately concluded that even w/ the right support, CHAOS has become the equivalent of THE BABYSITTERS CLUB (Yeah, I know. It's so DUUUUUMB (IMO).). So I decided to lessen the CHAOS & try a Wheel Deck Theme as a result. But this is currently 135 cards. All I know is that 35 of them must be severed out of the equation. What do you think of an Arjun Wheeling Deck? Does it seem more viable, or is the original idea a better concept as well as overall deck? I'd like some opinions on this.

So sorry that I actually recommends some cuts to 100 cards for 3 Decks now. No worries; I'll handle the rest, king-saproling. Thanks so much for your efforts :D

ZendikariWol, I think Sevinne, the Chronoclasm is actually really fun.

To start, it combos with one of my favorite cards from last year's set, Reality Scramble , IDK how good that is, but it'd be a blast.

For real value, I think the deck looks to be a graveyard value control deck. Maybe a bit of prison, considering how you can become 'immortal' by enchanting Sevinne, the Chronoclasm with a Pariah , or equipping it with a Pariah's Shield .

Swiftfoot Boots , Champion's Helm , etc. to protect it, then abuse it's ability to combo with Flashback, like Deep Analysis , jumpstart like Chemister's Insight , retrace like Oona's Grace , and aftermath like Refuse / Cooperate

Total, there are a lot of good spells to abuse with it:

Flashback -

Cackling Counterpart

Deep Analysis

Desperate Ravings

Echo of Eons

Faithless Looting

Firebolt

Increasing Devotion

Increasing Vengeance

Mystic Retrieval

Past in Flames

Recoup

Scour All Possibilities

Think Twice

Jump-Start -

Quasiduplicate

Radical Idea

Beacon Bolt

Chemister's Insight

Risk Factor

Retrace -

Oona's Grace

Reality Scramble

Call the Skybreaker

Aftermath -

Leave / Chance

Failure / Comply

Farm / Market

Reduce / Rubble

Refuse / Cooperate

Support:

Mission Briefing

Snapcaster Mage

Quiet Speculation

Runic Repetition

Catalyst Stone

That's all I can think of right now, if I remember any more sweet cards with Sevinne, I'll tell you!

Good start!

More cards you should consider to make cards like Quiet Speculation more viable: Increasing Ambition, Increasing Confusion and Deep Analysis

Here are a few other suggestions I think would work well with your deck: Academy Elite, Pieces of the Puzzle, Possessed Skaab and The Mirari Conjecture.

In terms of what to cut, Crab Umbra does protect your commander from a board wipe and lets you untap, but it doesn't help with Dralnu's painful downside and there are more efficient ways to untap your commander. Corrupted Conscience also seems a bit random in your deck, since it doesn't really synergize with anything, though it's still a powerful card. Unwind seems like the weakest and narrowest of your counters, of which you already plenty. Nightveil Sprite is a great card in 60-card constructed, but might fall short in a multi-player, 100-card format.

Great deck! I do not look forward to playing against you...
