Promise of Loyalty
Sorcery
Each player puts a vow counter on a creature and sacrifices the rest. Each of those creatures can't attack you or planeswalkers you control for as long as it has a vow counter on it.

No prob, always happy to lend some suggestions. I've been playing Isshin since he debuted, but mostly as a tokens Go-Wide build with some Group slug and Goad mixed in. Nelly Borca was my first fully dedicated Goad deck. Squall, Gunblade Duelist is the closest that I'll get to a Mardu Goad commander that isn't Isshin, for now.
-
Land counts are def one of those personal preference details that I don't lean on super heavily for suggestions unless someone is on thr lower side with a high curve. Def an "art meets science" aspect of deck building lol. For Isshin specifically, I've cut down on 2 cmc rocks to swap for newer 2 cmc creatures. In non-Green decks I usually rely on the color relevant "Talisman of __" cycle, Arcane Sig, maybe Fellwar Stone. For land edits I try to cut back on tapped lands without a condition that allows them to enter untapped.
-
Yeah, I had fun with Etali in Isshin for a bit, but it ate removal more often than not without Lightning Greaves or something similar. I think you could swap Patron of the Kitsune for the Righteous Cause in your Maybe Board. It's slightly cheaper, but also more removal resistant.
-
On the note of Goad enablers, something I've picked up on from playing Nelly, and against various Goad decks in my main playgroup, is that combat incentives can "encourage" folks to fight rather than force them. Donating creature tokens via the Hunted cycle & Combat Calligrapher can be risky. Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor and Frontier Warmonger are more examples of combat incentives in the vein of Karazikar & Breena that everyone can benefit from. The Firemane Commando in your Maybe Board is also solid. Carrots vs sticks. Give people carrots, then beat them over the head with them.
-
On that note, the Hissing Miasma effects are def a "Your mileage may vary". Folks i regularly play with will tank the damage to kill whoever. The Ghostly Prison effects seem to be a bigger deterrent.
-
Promise of Loyalty and Split Up can be interesting semi-symmetrical removal options that also allow for political wheeling & dealing.
Happy to provide feedback & chat. Isshin is easily my favorite commander, and Goad is something I enjoy playing with and against. If you're ever interested, The Rani is also a solid Goad commander. One of my friends runs her, & she's a lot of fun.

Well, my Pavel Maliki deck liked to use a few interesting sources of evasion, Shizo, Death's Storehouse, Dauthi Embrace, Mask of Griselbrand, and possibly Scavenged Brawler. I use these in conjunction with a fairly large number of board wipes that help thin the board and help get in for Commander damage. Flying, Shadow, Fear, and Trample are all useful ways to get in for damage, even if the opponent has potential blockers, they might not count. If your Voltron is big enough to try for the win you might try Mandate of Abaddon, this can easily let you one shot someone if Teysa's power is high enough (and nobody is retaliating vs you). You could also try Promise of Loyalty, this clears out almost all the creatures while also preventing the survivors from coming after you.
Not sure why I didn't think of it earlier, but despite people making fun of it Grave Betrayal seems like it'd have some synergy with your Commander, not only do you get the 1/1, you'd also get their creature!

Tuvasa CEDH stax

What do you think of Estrid's Invocation in this list? Each upkeep it becomes whatever Enchantment is situationally best, that seems worth a look? It's really good if you've already got Sterling Grove or Greater Auramancy out, then your Enchantments are shrouded. Have you thought about something more spicy than Wrath of God in here? I was wondering about something like Single Combat, Promise of Loyalty, or even Winds of Abandon? There is always Cyclonic Rift, with Rule of Law out Rift is a truly backbreaking play in my limited experience. In my Stax deck I found Brave the Sands very useful, it can make it easy for my single large creature to attack with impunity, as well as block up to two creatures per combat (which is usually enough if you've got something like Stasis or Static Orb out).
I can't seem to figure it out on my own, but I'm guessing you have a good reason not to use All That Glitters in here? Not enough synergy perhaps/Tuvasa is usually big enough on her own?
Anyways cool list, cEDH Stax is tons of fun!

I see people discussing boardwipe suggestions. The only one not mentioned here I run is Promise of Loyalty
I see you're running Vow of Duty. The other two Vow auras are quite fun too, with their versatility to enchant Killian, or something else.
Same for the Impetus auras.
Ghoulish Impetus Martial Impetus Parasitic Impetus
Some of my favourite most powerful cards for Killian are: Holy Mantle Astarion's Thirst Angelic Destiny Celestial Mantle Sage's Reverie Timely Ward Ethereal Armor Songbirds' Blessing
I'm also looking forward to having the new Redemption Arc and Idolized

No prob, happy to help! I enjoy your build style and your discussion contributions around the site when I see them.
If you're in need of Enchantment or general recursion, I'd recommend adding Hall of Heliod's Generosity. I've found that I don't encounter much land removal in my metas beyond Generous Gift/Beast Within, so utility lands get a bit more mileage. I'd also recommend checking out Noxious Revival, as it can be cast for a measly 2 life, and has the added flexibility of being graveyard or top-of-deck tutor hate.
There's also Auramancer, Monk Idealist, and Heliod, the Radiant Dawn Flip (to name a few enchantment specific recursion effects)
Lol I was so focused on the triple white pips on Hour of Reckoning, that I totally missed the Convoke. If you'd want another board wipe, I'd recommend Promise of Loyalty, since it can get around indestructible.
Not sure if you'd be interested, but my best friend recently put together a Brennard deck if you'd want to check it out. He's no longer active on Tapped Out, so this would direct you to his Moxfield list. For additional context, my friend is someone that typically plays aristocrats, and Jund-adjacent strats

Have you ever thought about Witch's Clinic or Devoted Caretaker? Not quite sure what constitutes an '8', but Crackdown is pretty neat in mono-White, few people run big White creatures, it's probably a better defense than Ghostly Prison or Norn's Annex, but it might paint a target on your back. I think at a power level of 8 you can run something like Drannith Magistrate, that might be worth a look.
Wipes are very important as your power level goes up, people's decks get 'out of hand' both quicker and to a greater extreme, even 'fair' decks might have a much scarier board than you. Even in cEDH I hear about people using wipes these days, Promise of Loyalty is one I like, this will clear out even wide boards and force people to go after each other. The Eternal Wanderer is also interesting, but she is 6 mana for a pretty fun wipe in Voltron decks. There is also Single Combat, I suppose if you keep your Commander who cares if you can't summon any new creatures?
If your power level is reasonably high you can almost count on someone drawing quite a few more cards than you, maybe Wedding Ring would be worth it?

Rograkh + Ardenn Equipment Deck

Hi there! Have you had a chance to play this deck irl at all yet? Do you have a set budget in mind per card, or overall for the deck? I have a few suggestions for potential additions as well as some likely swaps:
-
Sigarda's Aid - Super helpful to cheat Equip costs, as they can get mana intensive
-
Dismantling Wave / Wear / Tear - Can maybe replace Austere Command as a slightly faster options to deal with multiple artifacts/enchantments at once, and also because you can likely afford to run 1-2 fewer board wipes.
-
Forge Anew - Some more excellent new equipment support.
-
Frodo, Determined Hero - Excellent attacker that can skip on equip costs for himself.
-
Generous Gift - Is a versatile removal option since it can also destroy lands. The 3/3 Elephant token is fairly irrelevant in the grand scheme of an EDH game.
-
Promise of Loyalty - Can likely replace Slash the Ranks. I've played this in a Voltron Aura deck a couple years ago, and found it to be super helpful since it kept some heat off me while I swung away as everyone else was in rebuild mode. This is also a bit better than Slash the Ranks since the sacrifice removal gets around Indestructible, and destroy effects don't
I think you can remove Winds of Rath since your deck isn't really running any Aura enchantments to have your creatures benefit from.
