Boneyard Mycodrax

Creature — Fungus

Boneyard Mycodrax's power and toughness are each equal to the number of other creature cards in your graveyard.

Scavenge (, Exile this card from your graveyard: Put a number of +1/+1 counters equal to this card's power on target creature. Scavenge only as a sorcery.)

If you want to stick with the strategy of filling up your graveyard with just creatures and killing with stickfingers or abusing the sheer number of creatures in you graveyard consider Kessig Cagebreakers,Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord,Golgari Grave-Troll, Boneyard Mycodrax,Wreath of Geists,Strength from the Fallen,Splinterfright,Seed Guardian,Ghoulcaller's Harvest,Twilight's Call

Thanks for the suggestions killer_eye! Yeah Scute Swarm has definitely been great.

I used to run a lot of those big graveyard-based cards like Boneyard Wurm , Splinterfright , Spider Spawning but eventually cut most of them for reasons similar to the Worm Harvest one. Boneyard Mycodrax was one of those but I totally forgot that it also has a graveyard ability, so it could be interesting. Bonehoard is a like a reverse Nighthowler , definitely usuable.

Plumb the Forbidden is pretty good too.

Hi! Hogaak player here, I found your list as I search for other decklist to look for some techs. I adopted scute swarm tech and I’m really impressed on how easy to support it specially a topdeck scute swarm after a boardwipe feels so good and it’s so easy to rebuild from there.

The description here re. worm harvest and world shaper convinced me to totally drop them. I’m constantly looking for what cards to cut from my list and your reasoning for both cards are spot-on.

As for suggestion maybe: Bonehoard (extra big creature), Boneyard Mycodrax (another big creature with graveyard ability), Plumb the Forbidden (card draw)

Sorry for all the comments, but would Unearth also be good if Splinterfright was added? What about Call of the Death-Dweller? And last but probably not least, what about Boneyard Mycodrax or Acolyte of Affliction?

There're a few cards I think are cuttable. In EDH, you're often facing down three opponents (and 3x as many cards) -- so you need the most efficient cards possible. Consider cutting the least efficient cards you have. For the record, these are the ones I see as inefficient: Vorapede, Boneyard Mycodrax, Horn of Ramos (if you're considering symmetrical hate, like Collector Ouphe), Murder (which is only a 1-for-1 in a format where you start out facing 3x as many cards), Lifecraft Awakening...

I also realized I missed a suggestion. I feel like Murderous Rider is straight better than Ruinous Path; but again, you may want to consider many-for-ones like Ashes to Ashes, Smallpox, Innocent Blood... Just playtest and you'll see what's best for your deck. It's hard to make recommendations in abstractio.
