The funniest/greatest play ever!

Hello everyone! Something super funny happened to me last night. I was playing a janky flash deck, and I had a Vedalken Orrery on the battlefield plus a lot of tokens. My opponent decided to play Blasphemous Act. In reaction, I flashed in a Phyrexian Obliterator, and he was forced to sacrifice 13 permanents! He conceaded the game!

I would like to know what are the most funniest/greatest/best/everything ending in -est plays that happened to you!

There was an EDH game I was playing, I had Fervor on the field and was going to cast Kaalia of the Vast next turn. One of the other players says omg no I'm going to get killed by the Kaalia Master of Cruelties combo and I said "nah, I don't have him in my hand".

Next turn: untap, upkeep, and I topdeck Master of Cruelties. I cast Kaalia, swung at my opponent and profusely apologized.

Last night playing against infect with my grixis delve there was a 9 card stack. He tried going for the win getting aggressive with mutagenics and it started a bolt/ counter vs pump spell war. It was literally just smacking our entire hands Onto the table. We were both laughing our asses off afterwards cause it was so intense.

Standard: Back in 2006, when standard was Mirrodin/9th Edition/and Ravnica block, I played a BR aggro rush deck. I was paired with a dude that was playing a Boros Protection from BR deck. I crushed him late game with Demonfire with hellbent.

Modern: I played Choke in my SB against Merfolk. Lol.

Legacy: I watched a dude rage quit against an aggro loam deck that was playing Crucible of Worlds and Wasteland. The player won with Devastating Dreams and Knight of the Reliquary

Draft: I won an entire draft on the back of Lobber Crew... I still don't know how I did it.

The most ridiculous games I've played recently were both Two-Headed Giant EDH games.

The first game we landed a turn 3 Magister Sphinx into Kaervek the Merciless, and with both having haste.

Second game we got a turn 2 Possibility Storm, and my partner's Demonic Tutor turned into a Bribery and nabbed a It That Betrays. We won with our opponents hellbent and with no permanents in play.

@ThisIsBullshit haha, happened to me once to get killed by this combo, I know how frustrating it can be. Never underestimate the power of topdecking!

@dan8080 those kind of wars are so much fun. As an EDH player, I like to put a lot of spells on the stack at the same time, and something funny is when there is a counterspell war (I mean when counterspells are getting counterspelled). Another funny thing that happened to me once; I had an Hive Mind and Nivmagus Elemental in play and someone played a Lightning Bolt. I then played Wild Ricochet followed by Reverberate. That combo got me infinite Wild Ricochet on the stack and I exiled them all for my Nivmagus Elemental to become 2/2. Funny play!

@gnarlicide LOL! Well, as they say, It's easier to just aim at everything!

@lemmingllama EDH games are always the funniest ones. I do like how random the second game was, the tutor turning into a tutor!

Yes, I am asking the same question? Maybe the luckiest god hand ever:

But what for the colored mana???

While playing at GP New Jersey, I played against Miracles as basically Young Stoneblade. This Miracles deck won with the Rest in Peace+Energy Field synergy, I don't think it ran Helm of Obedience, I never saw it, but it doesn't mean it wasn't there. My opponent didn't have RIP in play yet, but had Energy Field in play and was at 3 life, he's been durdling for five or six turns at this point. My board is basically two True-Name Nemesis, a Batterskull, two Young Pyromancers and a ton of tokens. I draw Wasteland, nuke a Tundra to break Energy Field, then swing, he attempts to top for a Terminus and tries to skip right to the Terminus, I back him up to the top trigger and Lightning Bolt him. He attempts to spin top, presumably to put a 1 cmc on top of his library. I bolt again in response, he cracks a fetch to try it again, and I bolt him again in response for the win.

@fluffybunnypants I think god was watching your game cause that was some serious lucky topdecks. What a lucky win!

I just want to thank everyone for contributing to my MTG experience! I can't play a lot often, so that is why I like to be here and hear about your crazy stories!

My friend was playing a Prime Speaker Zegana edh deck he had a massive Psychosis Crawler and a Laboratory Maniac in play. He played prime speaker gearing to deck himself and win. In response to him getting the draws I Sudden Spoiling him. Allowing him to self mill to death. Best part is that is the only loss for that deck

@fadelightningmm LOL! I never thaught of Sudden Spoiling in that situation! My friend is also playing a Prime Speaker Zegana EDH deck with the same combo as a win condition, and thanks to you now I know how to stop it! But lol I am sure is face was similar as the one on Sudden Spoiling when he lost this way!

Lol, I played Sudden Spoiling against Twin in Modern. The dude goes off and swings, I play spoiling and he tries to remand it. I was like, "do you even Magic, bro?" he scooped as I had a bunch of golfs on board. Jund FTW!

@gnarlicide it would have been even funnier if you would have been playing an un game (unhinged or unglued) and really had golf balls on the field! Here ya go, ya don't know how to read? Imma throw ya golf balls!

I had an amazing board with my Marchesa, the Black Rose edh deck. All the dudes had counters and I had MArchesa on the field so I had protection but then someone cast Hallowed Burial. The guy after him went crazy with mana and Doubling Cube ending up playing Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre and a ton of elves, (he was running Ezuri). Basically, since everyone was on low life the Ezuri player had lethal on board for everyone, I had no cards in hand and then what do I topdeck? Insurrection. BOOM I win.

@ThisIsBullshit/thegigibeast I landed a turn 2 Mana Flare using a Sol Ring, and my ally used a filter land with Dark Ritual. They were god hands, and I felt really bad for my opponents.

As for the second game, it was just a turn 1 Mana Vault

Any commander game where Wild Evocation or Possibility Storm hit the board is hysterical. Turn my 3-drop mana ramp artifact into Blightsteel Colossus? Okay.

One time one of my friends cast Insurrection just to give a creature haste. Tagging MAGESTIC_LLAMA for the whole story.

Well I was playing this deck it ain't over till I say it's over with a friend. I had 13 cards in my GY, two stitch together in hand, and 4 untapped black mana in play, along with a Platinum Angel and Sheoldred, Whispering One in the GY. I was at 2 life and my friend had a 3/3 token. He was at 6 life. I play both stitch togethers targeting sheoldred and the angel, bring them both back into play, and he then concedes to my imminent victory
