Heartless Land Value

I've always liked playing ramp decks. And I have always liked playing The Gitrog Monster, Ramunap Excavator, and others in EDH. So after seeing Frog Town a few weeks ago, I decided to look into actually getting into modern. I've been wanting to get into modern for a while, but just haven not due to laziness.

I like the deck as it was, but felt it needed a little something more. I like trying things outside of the box, so I added blue and made some tweaks of my own. There are a good bit of budget replacements, as this decklist consists of what I own, and not what I want it to be in an ideal state.

The idea of the deck is to out value the opponent by playing tons of lands, ripping through our library faster than they can. We achieve this by using "play additional land" effects with Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Oracle of Mul Daya, and The Gitrog Monster. We support them with Tireless Tracker and Courser of Kruphix. Getting clues and playing lands off the top help us dig through the deck. We ramp into these creatures with Heartless Summoning so that we can hopefully drop 2-3 combo pieces in a single turn.

The Gitrog Monster generates a ton of value, especially when we start activating Ghost Quarter and Field of Ruin. Ramunap Excavator lets us repeat this effect, hopefully leading to locking out opponent out of the game by removing their mana.

Side board is mostly filled with budget replacements for things I do not own; I definitely need to add in some more artifact/enchantment hate. Things in the maybe board are things I am looking to actually add in once I pick them up or find a place for them with the meta at my LGS.
