This deck is made o be played in a circuit i run with some buddies, the format's name is "budget 10": basically the idea is to play budget decks (max 10 euros total, based on the price tendencies tracked by mkm, the mana base has his own rules, so you'll find some fetches, shocklands etc) in wich all sets are legal, from legacy to commander. The format hasn't a real meta, due to the floating of card's prices and to the giant amouunt of playable cards. Anyway each color and each archetype has his own staples (is easy to figure out that Incinerate/Burst Lightning can replace Lightning Bolt, Duress/Lay Bare the Heart can replace Thoughtseize, Smother/Victim of Night can replace Fatal Push and so on).The idea behind this deck is to make a mix between the legacy deck "Deadguy ale" and the modern "BW/Eldrazi Taxes", so the main goal is to grind and slow down your opponent to victory. You'll find a few efficient removals (3x Swords to Plowshares and 1x Disfigure wich i'm pondering to trade with Snuff Out), a little bit of disruption spells (3x Duress) and a bunch of both proactive and reactive creatures:
-We run 9 creatures that can mess up with opponent's hand (4x Tidehollow Sculler, 2x Kitesail Freebooter that essentially work as 5-6 Tidehollow Sculler, 2x Shrieking Grotesque as a discard + 2 power body that attacks in the air and a single copy of Sin Collector to have the chance deal with stuffs like Lingering Souls and to definitely get rid of noxious cards like Flaying Tendrils, Pyroclasm, Fumigate and other mass removals
-4 copies of Vryn Wingmare, literally a bad Thalia, Guardian of Thraben (but a nonlegendary one) to slow down spell based decks
-6 creatures that can work as removal spells either: 4x Wasteland Strangler to sweetly sinergize with Tidehollow Sculler and similar stuffs, 1x Palace Jailer an high-risk/high-reward card, that can also generate huge cards advantage, 1x Stalking Leonin supersweet creature against aggro decks
-5 blinking creatures: the D&T staples Flickerwisp and Restoration Angel, their effect is nice here and can generates lots of value thanks to the many different target their ability can have: you need a removal? Blink Wasteland Strangler, Palace Jailer or an exhausted Stalking Leonin, you need disruption? Blink a processed Tidehollow Sculler/Kitesail Freebooter, or a Sin Collector
-3x Asylum Visitor: literally bad BOB, but at least with a bigger body and a less painfull effect
-A single copy of Gonti, Lord of Luxury is just gauranteed cards advantage on a 2/3 deathtouch body, may be relevant, but i'm not very convinced about him for this slot, maybe can just be another Sin Collector or a big beater that can resolve the game quickly and without the need of a follow up, like Obzedat, Ghost Council,Blood Baron of Vizkopa or even a spicy Abyssal Persecutor
-2x Adanto Vanguard as respectable and resilient early beaters, obviously they are a super budget option
