Budget Modern Humans and Demons

Creatures:

• Bloodsoaked Champion is a reusable sacrificial body and/or attacker
• Champion of the Parish grows larger when more Humans join the battle
• Doomed Traveler refunds itself when sacrificed
• Skirsdag High Priest can put lowly Humans to work summoning more Demons
• Thalia's Lieutenant grows like the Champion and also fortifies any existing Humans
• Thraben Doomsayer generates more Humans and gives a crucial combat boost when things are looking bad
• Grim Haruspex makes casualties and sacrifices more rewarding
• Demonlord of Ashmouth is a cheap, evasive beater that can revive stronger once
• Ormendahl, Profane Prince is a really hard to stop finisher

Non-creature spells:

• Gather the Townsfolk creates more Humans to sacrifice and pump up the Champion and Lieutenant
• Tragic Slip is a great removal on this Deck, since something will die sooner or later
• Journey to Nowhere is a budget version of Path to Exile
• Village Rites is a sacrificial outlet that refuels the hand
• Westvale Abbey   can create even more Humans or have them invoke the Demon Prince
• Vault of the Archangel can turn the tide of the match or seal it in a decisive blow

Sideboard (not final):

• Soul Warden is used to balance Burn damage or to have an edge against creature based builds
• Tithe Taker is good against instant-heavy decks like Izzet
• Thalia, Heretic Cathar buys time to react against most decks
• Disenchant is artifact/enchantment removal
• Tormod's Crypt brings graveyard hate

I made this deck for my brother, as he is trying to get into the game, mostly to play with me and friends. He wanted something with evil magic, Demons and Humans dying for them, so I made what I thought was best with a low budget. Cards over 5-6€ per copy are not being considered for now
