If you're expecting a drawn-out game, repeated recursion is the sure path to victory. The thing is, enchantments have changed since Dowsing Shaman was printed. Being able to bring back an aura or handy enchantment every turn is swell... but what about a creature? The Theros blocks have brought us enchantment creatures, meaning you can recur some solid beater like Humbler of Mortals or Nylea's Forerunner instead of some dinky little enchantment.

In addition to the usual sacrifice-for-value cards like Seal of Primordium, Font of Fertility and Briar Shield, Neon Dynasty opens up a whole new world by basically providing spells that the Shaman can recur! Bamboo Grove Archer, Jukai Preserver and Greater Tanuki are all enchantments that can be discarded for an effect thanks to Channel, making them cheap and easy to score an effect and be ready to be recurred right away.
