This is a new take on my old jank deck — ♻ Life Cycle ♻ — but in Commander.

The idea of that deck was based around a three card combo; Sunbond + Fathom Mage + Horizon Chimera and an optional altwincon Felidar Sovereign. I was thinking of also splashing {B} for alt win con Wall of Limbs. Atraxa, Grand Unifier maybe could be the Commander to get that right color identity.

What commander? {W}{G}{U}

For our commander we're taking it back. Way back! Legends is the seventh Magic: The Gathering set and the third expansion set, released in June 1994.

I was going to go with;

This commander allows us to Discover and search out from our library the combo pieces.

• {T}, Exile a creature card from your graveyard: Discover X, where X is the mana value of the exiled card. Activate only as a sorcery. (Exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card with that mana value or less. Cast it without paying its mana cost or put it into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom in a random order.)

So we need to get things into the graveyard. Traumatize is perfect at doing this. Eternal Witness can get things back out. And Conjurer's Closet/Teleportation Circle lets us repeat that process. But truth be told that's probably way to jank to ever work.

So we just play the long game and gain life until we draw the combo pieces.

Focusing on gaining life the most effectient way. Lifelink

Arwen, Mortal Queen

• Conjurer's Closet/Teleportation Circle will let us recounter up Arwen so we can pass around more and more Lifelink counters to anything else. Not to mention making everything Indestructible in a pinch. Not bad, eh?

Whenever becomes tapped; Saddle. Tap for Mana effects (creatures become lands). Etc.

Eternal Witness can be flickered to grab stuff out the graveyard.

Yedora, Grave Gardener + Ruin Ghost prevents them from ever getting to the graveyard and can turn them from lands back into creatures.

Devotion to green {G}{G} creatures and Setessan Petitioner/Nylea's Disciple with the Closet and Teleportation Circle. Great way to get repeated lifegain.

One of my favorite things in all of Magic® is ETB creatures. Because the effects can be really powerful and fun and repeated.

So it goes without saying two cards I love to use anytime I get a chance are Conjurer's Closet and Teleportation Circle.
