Thanks for the suggestions Davinoth! The casting cost for Scalpelexis is a little high so I can't really justify it without having a mill sub-theme. I appreciate that Infiltration Lens would basically serve as a secondary Skullclamp, so I will try to find space for it. I've never seen Raven Guild Master - love the Kev Walker art on that one.

Unmoored Ego, Raven Guild Master, Mindreaver, Oona, Queen of the Fae, Supreme Inquisitor, there are so many!
For the shuffle, Cosi's Trickster is the only other card I can think of.
You could also run Leyline of the Void to turn your mill effects into exile effects.

Thank you Apollo_Paladin The new Maddening Cacophony is laying on my desk, cause i often think about it. iam playing mill since Raven Guild Master came out :D so i played with Traumatize in most times in legacy the half library is not more then 10cards at the moment i can cast it. and it will need one full turn. only way to deal with this effect is the Fraying Sanity combo. so Maddening Cacophony can do good work. but in most games i dont have 5mana. :) so if i draw bad and have a lot of mana, it will safe my ass. i will try it instead of Brain Freeze . and thank you for the Brazen Borrower tip.. dont knew this card. and its perfect!

lifemtg: Lol, my bad - I read that as "commanders that aren't commonly played" not "commanders that are uncommons."
'S not for normal commander, but Kasmina, Enigmatic Mentor is a sweet oathbreaker/commander in a playgroup that will allow it. Lots of proliferate to keep her going, she smooths out your draws while dropping tokens for protection, and her passive helps protect important creatures like Laboratory Maniac etc.
And of course, there's Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive , and all the 1 power/toughness creatures, like Rootwater Thief , Scalpelexis , Raven Guild Master , Mindshrieker , etc.

OneShot Mill

My nekusar deck The Old Grixis Mill has worked well as a mill deck. Raven Guild Master, Rogue's Passage and Whispersilk Cloak are good affordable cards. There are a few higher end mill cards in that deck and in my Sidisi's Milkshake which is a self mill themed muldrotha deck.
