Thank you! Right back at you, I really like all of your decks, especially the Child of Alara and Reyhan/Vial Smasher builds! =)

I really like this build, +1!

It feels like a classically 5-colour deck. Green for fixing and ramping, blue for drawing and some trickery, a bit of red for a bit of extra damage, some white for protection and some tutors, and black you get to skip straight up Removal thanks to your deck's function, and just index into drawing, combo fixing and reanimation. Love it.

I think I'd recommend Sisay, Weatherlight Captain , can help you get to your devotion a little faster. And it's a heavy hitter but a Cavern of Souls would be right at home in this deck. =)

MLS91: Indeed! Lightmine Field + Vigor is pretty dope, however the whole purpose of this deck is to make my creatures take damage, so Vigor is definitely out of the question haha.

I hate to say I don't think Lightmine Field will make the cut either, but I don't think it will. Simply synergizing with a couple/few cards in the build doesn't make it worthwhile IMO (especially considering creatures like Brash Taunter & Stuffy Doll are better blockers and seldom attack). I'm not sure that they're a permanent fixture, but the Vow Auras are considerably more versatile, and would definitely be a Non-Bo with Lightmine Field . While Lightmine Field can certainly be good, it's never going to help this deck win a game that it's not already winning (save maybe against token-gen decks). You could maybe say the same about the Vows, but they can definitely stop you from losing a game you're about to lose.

You made a good case for it, though! =)

MLS91: Thanks for the great suggestion!

I've had a Lightmine Field sitting in my binder for some time. It used to be in my Gishath deck, and I used it for exactly your recommendation (triggering Enrage effects)! I hadn't really thought about putting it into this deck, as wiping my opponents creatures can often be detrimental to my own strategy, but I hadn't considered the extra synergy with my own creatures.

Something to mull over! Thanks again. =)

     Very nice build, +1! =)

I think this deck would love Neyith of the Dire Hunt ! Otherwise you've pretty well covered it haha, but I'd maybe throw a Domri, Anarch of Bolas recommendation out there too. =D

KayneMarco: Agitator Ant has been in and out a few times.. generally speaking I don't like leaving things up to my opponents, but it may yet make it back in. As for Geode Rager , I had never seen that one but it's a definite addition!

     Thank you! =)

Mcat1999: Indeed! In most cases I'm encouraging my opponents to attack me though, so maybe not the right fit for this deck. =)

Gleeock: Good call! I actually just cut Akroma's Will from my Chulane Deck to put it into this deck. =)

ichibancho: For your deck I'd probably recommend War Priest of Thune , Cabal Archon , Leonin Arbiter , High Priest of Penance and/or Nullpriest of Oblivion .

And you're welcome! Always happy to help. =)

ichibancho: That's a nice looking deck list! The only hangup I have is that you're only running 30 lands. Nothing in your deck is terribly expensive to cast, I think 5 being the highest CMC. You've got some ramp creatures and spells that I think are kind of redundant given the low casting cost of the deck. More often than not I think you'd prefer to draw a land than Priest of Gix . Same goes for Land Tax & Tithe . All great spells in their own right, but generally speaking I think hitting land drops every turn is going to be better for the deck's performance. I'd aim for 34 or 35 lands. =)

Stuff like Night's Whisper and Village Rites is okay too, but you would get considerably more value out of something like a Midnight Reaper , Phyrexian Arena or even Relic Vial .

There's a few creatures in there I wouldn't bother with. Daru Spiritualist , Shaman en-Kor and Geralf's Messenger are all places I'd be looking to add lands or upgrades. With Conspiracy out Geralf's Messenger is pretty sick value, but to me that's not enough of a reason to keep him. If you're looking for the life-loss I'd suggest Zulaport Cutthroat or Bastion of Remembrance .

I tried to build this deck to function competently without Orah in play. Especially if you're winning the game, your opponents are definitely going to try to keep your Commander off the board. Sometimes I am a bit short on Clerics, but because the deck doesn't hinge on Orah's ability it has never really been a problem. One game in particular I was kind of frustrated that I couldn't hit a 3 drop Cleric for combo chains, but I ended up bleeding my opponents out with Karmic Guide + Reveillark + Zulaport Cutthroat haha, so it really depends on how you play the game out more than the tools you're drawing. =)

     Hello! Nice build, +1! =)

You've got a pretty excellent selection of Creatures and Spells, though I would recommend Three Visits and Nature's Lore . I think you could really take advantage of Brass's Bounty , too. Normally I would recommend more Treasure based cards for Korvold but since you're playing a Land based strategy it'd be a bit redundant here.

I think Land cards that Sacrifice themselves for no additional mana cost is where I would be looking for upgrades to make this deck even better. If Pain Fetches aren't an option, I would definitely recommend Rocky Tar Pit & Mountain Valley . I think a Ghost Quarter would go nicely with your Tectonic Edge as well, and maybe a Strip Mine & Wasteland , too - depending on how malevolent you feel haha!

And a bit of an after-thought: Lightning Greaves & Swiftfoot Boots are great. Korvold is always a removal target and Haste gets you growing and drawing sooner.

I have my own Korvold deck and Landfall deck if you care to have a peak. Cheers! =)
