Can we all just acknowledge the fact that Wizards owns Magic the Gathering and they can set any kind of arbitrary rules it wants?
Like, if the following cards were banned: Lowland Giant, Repentant Blacksmith, Armored Pegasus, Giant Octopus, Rowan Treefolk, and Venerable Monk - and WotC said they were banned in all formats because they just felt like it; would any of you guys be as upset about that decision as you are with this one?
I can't help but feel like some people are more upset for the reason the cards were removed than not having them in their respective formats to begin with. Why? Why do you value these cards more than the ones I just listed that you're willing to devote paragraphs and paragraphs of your time arguing in their defense? You can simply choose to not care about them and the world wouldn't be any different than where it was before.

I went through the rest of the cards in the shoebox and made the following tweaks. With the few cards I have, it looks like I can lead toward elf tribal. I should probably post this as a new deck because it's very much different.
