I have been working on competitive Turbofog for a long time. It seems pretty good right now with Death's Shadow, Dredge, and Merfolk decks and other decks designed to beat those decks. Do you know what Fatal Push does to this deck? Nothing :P This iteration of the deck finally includes Serum Visions for some real T1 action.

Win Cons:

  1. Sphinx's Tutelage
  2. Jace Beleren

The fogs:

  1. Ethereal Haze
  2. Holy Day
  3. Dawn Charm - additionally allows us to counter some problematic spells which target us

The card draw:

  1. Howling Mine
  2. Dictate of Kruphix
  3. Jace Beleren

The utility:

  1. Path to Exile: Can't beat Eidolon of the Great Revel for example
  2. Serum Visions: Filter to get fogs, lands, card draw etc.
  3. Supreme Verdict: Kill all of the things
  4. Shadow of Doubt: Does a surprising amount in modern, at worst draws a card.
  5. Snapcaster Mage: Play stuff from the graveyard
  6. Cryptic Command: Amazing card
  7. Elixir of Immortality: Gain 5 live, get our fogs back

Sideboard:

  1. Celestial Purge: Need to kill Liliana of the Veil, Eidolon of the Great Revel
  2. Ceremonious Rejection: Tron is a thing
  3. Disenchant: We can't beat Leyline of Sanctity
  4. Rest in Peace: Goryo's Vengeance and Dredge are decks
  5. Spreading Seas: More Tron hate
  6. Jace, Memory Adept: In case Jace Beleren or Sphinx's Tutelage are too slow
