Nashi, Storyteller's Son is a slightly-unpredictable theft deck. The deck aims to make Nashi, Moon Sage's Scion unblockable, and them to make as much use of his triggered ability as possible to speed ahead.

• Unblockability to ensure Nashi hits with cards like Fear, Whispersilk Cloak, and Access Tunnel, with some small voltron support to increase his damage and protect him.
• High-devotion cards to make the most of embracing mono-black, from Ayara, First of Locthwain to Cavalier of Night and of course Gray Merchant of Asphodel.
• Life exchange and loss-of-life payoff such as Profane Transfusion and Vilis, Broker of Blood to make the most of Nashi's ability draining your life total.
• A small selection of topdeck manipulation to ensure big bombs with Nashi's ability.
