the may in the title isn't actually there :3 they don't have a choice! unless they have hexproof, sacrifice the creature, or have a counterspell... but other than that u gotta give them over!!!

the goal of the deck is to ramp early to be able to get our commander out and steal our opponents creatures with cards like Act of Treason and the like

since those cards give said creatures haste, it will trigger our commander and we'll be swimming in treasure!!!
