Description:

In-deep cards-list:

This deck uses its many tools to make a great amount of mana which is used to make huge Genesis Wave or to cast big creatures.

The deck main win condition is to resolve a Genesis Wave for X=8 or more to get either a Craterhoof Behemoth and/or a bunch creatures, if the main wave dosen't give you the lethal,a wave result almost every time in another one because Eternal Witness can bring back your wave and the new permanent you get such has an untaped Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, a Garruk Wildspeaker and/or some Utopia Sprawl.

An alternative win condition is to go in what i name ''beater mode''. In short, you win/give time by litteraly attacking with your creatures (Polukranos, World Eater and Primeval Titan are the best in that department), Garruk Wildspeaker ultimate make this win con actually viable (basicly an Overrun, but it is sometimes possible without. It work also with elves because of Ezuri, Renegade Leader .

You can also use Primeval Titan to tutor a Stomping Ground and a Kessig Wolf Run to use our massive mana to pump a (or more) creature until the gargantuans level (Stomping Ground can be replaced by an Utopia Sprawl if red was chosen, it also work with Burning-Tree Emissary ETB effect in a lesser extent). Use Inkmoth Nexus for greater effect (or infect).

The last probable wincon doesnt give us the win instantly, but it prevent our opponent from winning. After you got a bunch of mana, resolve a Primal Command and choose option two choosing an opponent land and option four choosing Eternal Witness. Then, bring back the command with her and cast it again choosing the same opitions. Do this until you got no more Eternal Witness (you can do this up to three times), no mana left or if you have no more viable/desired targets.

Dream combo(who do happen quite a lot):

Turn one: Forest, tap it, Arbor Elf.

Turn two: Forest, tap the new one, cast Utopia Sprawl enchanting the untaped one. Tap the enchanted Forest for two mana, untap it with Arbor Elf, tap it again, you got a total of four mana, cast Garruk Wildspeaker (or Polukranos, World Eater, its also pretty cool). If you need to cast more thing (or aim for the ultimate) you can do its +1 to untap for three mana.

Turn Three: Preferably Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, tap and untap land until you can do a lot of mana to cast a huge Genesis Wave or a Craterhoof Behemoth. The amount of mana depend of how much devotion you get with the garruk untap play. At least (with only the nessary Arbor Elf, Utopia Sprawl and Garruk Wildspeaker, you have 4 devotion at minimum) you get 11 mana, allowing a wave for eight, who can get a Craterhoof Behemoth.

Creatures:

-Arbor Elf: Untap Forest in order to make it produce more mana. If the said land is enchanted by an Utopia Sprawl, it does make even more mana. He can be protected/bring to war by Ezuri, Renegade Leader .

- Elvish Visionary : It does cycle itself (in order to get our combo piece hopefully) and give a little devotion, it can chump block early against aggro deck or get pumped by Garruk Wildspeaker ultimate, Ezuri, Renegade Leader second ability or by Craterhoof Behemoth ETB effect to make it a threat/win con.

-Burning-Tree Emissary: Can make another one of itself enter the battlefield if you get to have multiple copy in your hand or even a Elvish Visionary and more. It does give a bunch of devotion, who we need with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx. It also has similar use to Elvish Visionary once it hits the battlefield minus the Ezuri, Renegade Leader interaction.

-Eternal Witness: Can brings back killed/discarded/countered/busted Garruk Wildspeaker/put in graveyard by Genesis Wave ) cards you want back! It becomes crazy when you get one of these with a wave, so she can bring back the said wave so you can do another one.

-Courser of Kruphix: She isn't in the bolt range and can block creature with up to three power without dying. She also prevent topdecking lang and give life (a wave can bring many lands). Her last great ability is that she can foresee one of the card you will wave into, so its more viable to do smaller wave. Unfortunatly, your opponent got to also see what your going to draw.

- Ezuri, Renegade Leader : Because we do have many elves (9 counting him) and being able to trigger its second effect, who it basicly an Overrun for elves, many time. Even if you got only him and one other elf, if you can still overrun 2 or 3 times, it still pretty powerfull. If you wave into it and you got many elf without summuning sickness, no need for another wave, he can handle the game. He can also protect your mana dorks from most removals, but unfortunatly not itself.

-Polukranos, World Eater: One of the few reactive card of the deck along with Primal Command and Karn Liberated. It can be a one-sided wipeboard who empower itself at the same time with the huge mana ramp possible in this deck. Can be played as a beater very early as soon as turn 2 (with the garruk combo in the introduction).

-Primeval Titan: Tutor your non-basic lands to enable win con or just some Forest to get more mana (or get rid of them to have greater chance to draw nonland cards). Its also a efficient creature, somes forget that...

-Craterhoof Behemoth: Main win con, use your mana for this guy, or wave in it. It makes all your creatures (and itself) bigger the more you have of them.

Enchantments:

-Utopia Sprawl: Make a forest produce twice its mana, in any color of your choice essensially (only non-green viable in this deck is red, currently, for Kessig Wolf Run). Its kinda is a mana dork who doesn't die to most removal. Its greater use is to untap the enchanted land with Arbor Elf to make a lot of mana. It also give a devotion.

Fertile Ground: Similar as above, but it cost more mana and you get to choose the color you want when the enchanted land is tapped instead of one time once it enter the battlefield.

Oath of Nissa: Green value card are quite rare in modern.

Planeswalkers:

-Garruk Wildspeaker: All its abilities are awsome for this deck, he is mostly why this deck work (and give some devotion). Its first ability untap any (2) of your land, better used on your Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx or your Forest enchanted by an Utopia Sprawl. Its second ability make more creature to either chump block or go in beater mode, it will be your less used ability tough. Its ultimate ability is basicly a discount Overrun or suspended one? It can make you win even without/before your combo does happen. Going into beater mode becomes a good thing after you ''resolve'' this. Also note that if you already have a garruk in the board and you wave in another one, you get to choose witch one to keep, keep the newest to do its ability again (and perhaps enabling a new wave).

-Karn Liberated: Colorless impratical hand disruption who can send permanents to oblivion. It grow fast and can be a win con on its own. Playing one early is devastating for your opponent.

Sorceries:

-Primal Command: Nice toolbox to have. Its one of the few things you cant wave into it, but it make (mostly) the game go in your favor. Here the indeep usefulness of each option: 1) Its first option give you time for your combo to happen, in most case/in a pinch. It also slow down Burn and most aggro deck. 2) Its second one is our few removal in the main deck (with Polukranos, World Eater montruosity and Karn Liberated second ability), only for non-creature permanent tough. If does early, it can slow down your opponent by chosing a land. You can even choose your own non-creature permanent if you really need to (to recharge garruk for exemple, its unlikely, but it still an option). 3) Third option is basicly graveyard hate or to prevent self mill or to stop straight mill deck.4) The fourth and last option is a creature tutor for (in most case) Craterhoof Behemoth or Primeval Titan for better result (or Ezuri, Renegade Leader if you got a lot of elves, Polukranos, World Eater is also a good choice to destroy somes undesired creatures). You can also choose Eternal Witness to bring back the said command to cast it again and reapeat the process till you have no more Eternal Witness left, hopefully to land lock our opponent badly, gaining time for the combo in the progress.

- Genesis Wave : The greatest mana sink in this deck, make X eight or more for better result (as it can now wave in Craterhoof Behemoth, smaller ones can also give devotion to (hopefully) make a greater wave later or just to win in beater mode. Note: If you happen to have a lot of mana early in the game and you have nothing on board because an early wipe, Genesis Wave for X=3 and more is alright.

-Tooth and Nail: Tutor creature you happen to want or if you already have them, put them from your hand directly on the battlefield. In the most case, Craterhoof Behemoth is the best choice.

Lands:

-Forest: Beside the mana it produce, it does have a revelent land type to be enchanted by an Utopia Sprawl.

-Stomping Ground: Adding only a single one permit to this deck to run a single Kessig Wolf Run, who can both be tutored with Primeval Titan and be a great mana sink/win con. It can also be enchanted by an Utopia Sprawl unlike the others non-basics lands in this deck.

-Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx: Make this deck come to life. It does give A LOT of mana with our great green symbols potential, but it become crazy went your untap it with Garruk Wildspeaker in order to tap it again, and again... and again. It can, in fact, produce red mana if you got some Burning-Tree Emissary to activate Kessig Wolf Run in last resort.

-Kessig Wolf Run: Main piece of the combo described in Stomping Ground. Note that if you left the X cost as zero, it still give trample to a single creature. Note that Utopia Sprawl can also produce red mana.

-boseiju, who shelders all: One of to be tutored by Primeval Titan, because it cant be enchanted by Utopia Sprawl and to not kill ourself by tributing to much life to the counters hater tree. It protect our few non-permanent cards (only Genesis Wave and Primal Command actually) from being countered. In resume, it protects the combo.

-Inkmoth Nexus: Tutor it with Primeval Titan along with Kessig Wolf Run to surprise kill by infect the following turn. You can also pump it with the enter the battlefield effet of Craterhoof Behemoth. I run it because it doesn't effet the primary combo and can win in a pinch. This manland is also the only flyer in the deck. Note: it is unfortunatly affected by summoning sickness.

Sideboard:

-Back to Nature: Mainly against boogle deck and Pillow Fort. Beware for your Utopia Sprawl.

-Banefire: counters deck can't counter that.

-Beast Within: It get rid of any kind of anoying permanent, even planeswalkers. It can also be a creature for us in a pinch.

-Choke: This one is to mana block severly blue deck such has merfolk.

-Creeping Corrosion: One sided board wipe against Affinity and Uzra Tron.

-Dismember: Some creature need or want to be removed, this repair the long struggle green as against creatures.

-Obstinate Baloth: Its brutal against any variation of Jund/Abzan/golgari who use liliana. its also work against 8 rack and slow down burn.

-Scavenging Ooze: It give poor devotion, but i wreak graveyard based deck like living end's and Dredgevine. With the great quantity of mana we can produce, he can empty a graveyard entirely, becoming potentially enormous in the process while giving a lot of life.

Variation possible within the maybeboard:

-Wistful Selkie and Elvish Archdruid : Both of them could replace Courser of Kruphix. Wistful Selkie didn't make the cut beacause she really doen't actually give more than her devotion, she doesn't fight really good, being no combat related abilities or optimal body. She indeed net a card, but she just replace herself, she's more useful in a Green devotion build who run Cloudstone Curio. Actually, if she was an elf, i could run her without question (yes, it is racist against merfolks). Elvish Archdruid was also very close from making the cut, but i did not wanted to become an Elf Tribal deck, even partially. It actually needed to much cut of non-elves creatures who are really good to make an optimal choice.

- Boggart Ram-Gang : i used to play it over Courser of Kruphix. He give a great amound of devotion and is a very efficient beater. It have kinda the same proprieties of Strangleroot Geist. He was cut because he didn't help the combo beside its devotion. While weaker, Courser of Kruphix is great advantage like i said in its description.

Reclamation Sage: Its actually an alternative in the sideboard for Creeping Corrosion. This one is a permanent/creature, so it give devotion and can be brought back by Genesis Wave and Primal Command unlike its rival. But Creeping Corrosion was chosen because, while less pratical, it is, indeed, more explosive.

Regal Force: He's actually not an alternative of Craterhoof Behemoth, he's more to go along with it. I don't run it because you can easly be milled to dead because of it after a wave (if you wave into it). Its place was taken by Ezuri, Renegade Leader , who his usefulness is in its description.

Vengevine: He compete its slot with Polukranos, World Eater. He's more agresive and resilient, but he can't be reactive. This is, indeed, one of the weakness of the deck who is, yet partially, cauterised by Polukranos, World Eater, so Vengevine didn't make the cut.

-Strangleroot Geist: I actually used to run them. Unfortunatly can't be brought on the battlefield with Burning-Tree Emissary but it does give a lot of devotion and can be used has a beater for alternative win con. Its also resilient from board wipe and most spot removals. But they were cut for more useful cards for the combo over the stompy aspect the deck has before.

Feel free to comment, i'm open for sugestion. I also have many more interesting deck you can see and comments in my profile.
