I don't think there's an "end" really to names and such that fit into mtg in one way or another. Then again I don't find Face-Breaker awkward, different folks will differ on what's "acceptable" in mtg. Fblthp, the Lost is arguably word soup but through lore and creativity he fits.

There is going to be cringe printed, Maro is also the nickname of Mark Rosewater.... Tell me he didn't print himself lol. Which maybe he didn't but it's still there.

TypicalTimmy I appreciate your comment and I don't mean to argue, but it seems to me that what you are saying is more relevant to the overall power level of your deck rather than Eminence specifically.

If I'm at a casual table with player 1's Edgar Markov deck and player 2's Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow, I'm not necessarily more worried about player 1 because they get to make 1/1 vampires for free. For all I know, player 3 is going to stomp all of us with their Fblthp, the Lost deck.

Baron_Pretzels okay. The reason I put some of the cards in is because it's not just the multicolour but I also wanted each solo colour to be represented by at least one creature and one spell:

CREATURE

White: Sisay, Weatherlight Captain, Odric, Lunarch Marshal

Blue: Esior, Wardwing Familiar

Black: Drana, Liberator of Malakir

Red: Kari Zev, Skyship Raider

Green: Sakura-Tribe Elder, Fallaji Wayfarer, Esika, God of the Tree  ^Flip, Kolvori, God of Kinship  ^Flip

SPELL

White: Path to Exile, Swords to Plowshares, Urza's Ruinous Blast

Blue: Negate

Black: Yawgmoth's Vile Offering

Red: Mana Cannons

Green: Beast Within, Kodama's Reach, Cultivate, Farseek, Nature's Lore

Another Blue creature I was thinking was Fblthp, the Lost

Reason I put The World Tree was probably cause I've put Esika in.

Awesome suggestions everyone! I've been messing around with a wonky Kynaios and Tiro build that tries to let my opponents play all their big spells Show and Tell style. Things like Braids and Tempting Wurm in the deck, keeping me alive to enable them.

Omniscience_is_life Akim, the Soaring Wind Zombies sounds HILARIOUS.

Peoyogon Chandler with some Illusionist's Bracers effects is EXACTLY the type of thing I'm looking for.

seshiro_of_the_orochi I'd love to do something in simic using Panglacial Wurm and Fblthp, the Lost type stuff.

Thought you'd appreciate the true singleton format for this one. As for why Vorinclex, well it seems like Spike and Timmy have helped you figure that out ;)

Urza's Ruinous Blast and Primevals' Glorious Rebirth : Originally these were contestants, but this started out as a Party Matters deck (Wizard, Cleric, Warrior, Rogues) but I ended up not having enough of a balance of those types to warrant focusing heavily on the mechanic.

Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain : The point of the deck is to not cast the legendary spells. Also, she has her own deck.

Raff Capashen, Ship's Mage : This is one that was cut after deciding I had too many Wizards when I was still looking at Party Matters. Might warrant revisiting.

Kamahl's Druidic Vow : The primary reason this isn't in the deck is I don't have it. Otherwise I dunno what I'd cut.

Marchesa, the Black Rose and Shalai, Voice of Plenty : Damn that's a good combo. I'll need to source a Marchesa, but I have a Shalai coming in the Secret Lair drop. WHAT TO CUT?!

Day of Destiny : Don't has. Would be glorious w/ Arvad the Cursed .

Anafenza, the Foremost : Similarly, don't has. Will have to source as it's glorious.

Blackblade Reforged : Too many other good options to include this, unfortunately.

Heroes' Podium : I really like this one. Didn't know it existed. Will have to source.

Farseek : No idea what to cut. Also probably didn't find it when going through cards and was giving priority to LEGENDS

Thran Temporal Gateway : I've no excuse as to why this ain't in except that I wanted to use Sisay to cheat, not anything else. Which isn't a good excuse but it is mine.

Fblthp, the Lost : Wow yeah I do need one of these.

Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite : Wouldn't go in here anyway. She'd go into Mono-White. And I'm not gonna get my hopes up on getting more than one.

Avacyn, Angel of Hope : If I had an extra, lol. She's basically an auto-include in any white deck.

Sigarda, Host of Herons : See above.

Eerie Ultimatum : Another card that...I wish I had.

Ruinous Ultimatum : Ehh,, I feel like one ultimatum is a bit much for the deck and I'd rather Eerie.

Weatherlight : Valid point. Now, ugh gotta figure out how to fit it in.

Legacy Weapon : Bad Vorthos. Bad.

Rhystic Study : Bad Spike. Bad

Curiosity : ...bad Johnny, bad.
