Scarland Thrinax is classic Jund. Sacrifice creatures to make it bigger, give it evasion, and smash your opponents.

At the same time, there are a few other creatures that get counters when you sacrifice things or burn your opponents. And plenty of removal for your opponents' problematic permanents.
