Rebuilt the entire deck, made it more combo-ish.

Some instant/sorcery possibilities for you: Acquire
Kefnet's Last Word since you can uniquely avoid the downside of not untapping your lands
Shrewd Negotiation
Expropriate
Blasphemous Act
Sea Gate Restoration  Flip
Blatant Thievery
Sublime Epiphany

You could also run take-extra-turn spells to pretty good effect, but that's up to you.

Here are some additional cards to consider that are good in a R/U artifact/Treasures deck: Hellkite Tyrant
Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator
Shimmer Dragon

I might swap in "eggs" for artifacts rather than ones that need to go to the GY to draw you cards, since you want them on the field for your commander's ability:
Golden Egg
Guild Globe
Prophetic Prism

And some ideas for cuts, just based on being overall weaker cards:
Storm the Vault  Flip
Zahid, Djinn of the Lamp
Call the Skybreaker
Pull from Tomorrow
Spellbook
Urza's Bauble
Welding Jar
Mishra's Bauble
Magma Opus

Finally, and I hate to suggest it since it means more cuts, but I think you should eventually be at 35 or 36 lands even with all of the ramp. 33 is pretty low unless you're running the full Mana Vault / Mana Crypt etc. cEDH manabase. I hope this gives you a good place to start!

Well, I highly suggest picking up these stax cards like Winter Orb , Static Orb , Trinisphere and Storage Matrix .

For a less competitive scene Watchdog , Genesis Chamber , Blinkmoth Urn and Howling Mine

The dragon breaks parity with all of those cards :)

I would consider the classic infinite combos:

Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal + 3 mana from artifacts = infinite mana.

Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth = infinite mana.

Leveler + Thassa's Oracle = win the game.

abby315 thank you for the suggestions! I like Acquire , getting my friends The Great Henge out of his deck sounds like fun! Kefnet's Last Word could be fun too. Blatant Thievery , Sublime Epiphany and Sea Gate Restoration  Flip are good as well. Gonna add those tonight.

I tried shy away from Blasphemous Act as I’m trying to make this deck different from my other two decks and they both have it but maybe I’ll include it anyways.

I do like Shimmer Dragon . Is Malcom, Keen-Eyed Navigator good with out many other pirates?

I like the eggs too I’ll add some of those.

You don’t like the 0 drops with my commander? Seems like they would be good. Spellbook might not be that good though. I figured Storm the Vault  Flip fit the deck.

I run 32-33 lands in my other decks but they have a lot more cantrips and card draw so maybe this one needs more.

Too the other comments my play group is very casual so I don’t want infinite combos or Stax pieces, I’ll add that in the description.

Hardhitta7 yeah, Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator is my commander for my R/U pirates deck, so I'm not sure how great he his on his own, but since it makes a treasure every turn I thought I should mention it!

Storm the Vault  Flip ends up just being pretty slow, I wasn't super impressed with it in my deck! But mine is more about having Treasures around and not necessarily about casting huge spells, so maybe it's better in this list.

Yeah, I used to do the same thing - start with 35 lands and then cut some usually - but I just read a StarCity article that argued for 39 lands as an average so I brought all of my decks up to 37-ish at least. It's actually much better. Have to mulligan much less often. I encourage you to give it a try!

I made some of the changes you suggested. Think I’ll keep Storm the Vault  Flip for now, just to try it out if nothing else. I’ve never played Tolarian Academy so I think it could be fun.

Do you think I should cut Torrential Gearhulk ? I don’t have all that many instants atm.

Oh and I definitely wasn’t aware of Hellkite Tyrant , I’ll include it for sure when I get the extra cash.

I would recommend Thopter Spy Network and Whirler Rogue . The network will provide a steady supply of artifacts and occasional card draw. The rogue is easily one of my favorite cards in all of Magic. It instantly gives you two artifacts, and can let a huge hitter swing in. You can even politic, and use it to let an opponent swing at another opponent, since it doesn't specify you need to own the creature.

I’ve already got Thopter Spy Network and I agree Whirler Rogue is a cool card but I personally prefer Pia and Kiran Nalaar .

Really like this deck. Perhaps Devil's Play and Mindswipe would help finish off an opponent.

Thassa, Deep-Dwelling could help generate more artifact tokens by bouncing your commander or other cards such as Urza and dockside extortionist

Big fan. It is a shame that a pure treasure token wins are likely not possible (something like Revel in Riches )

Either way, the idea is solid and I hope to see updates from you. For now, +1 from here :-)

I don't think culmination of studies works well in this deck as you have a lot of colorless cards. I would probably exchange it for something like blue sun's zenith in you only want the card draw, not to mention it's an instant.

Yeah I didn’t think of that, thanks for pointing it out!
