Slivers is a fair yet competitive Modern deck which offers unique play patterns you don't get from your typical aggro decks.

I've been playing Slivers in Modern regularly since M15 gave us Sliver Hive and I have hundreds if not thousands of reps with the deck. I've even gone so far as to foil out the enter deck and its various 75 card combinations. This list is what I believe to be the most competitive given the current meta-game (as listed on MTG-Goldfish) and I keep it updated regularly.

I welcome input, comments, and feedback if you think this deck can be improved.

Sinew Sliver & Predatory Sliver - These creatures are the core of your deck. Most games will be won by going deep and wide with slivers that become increasingly large with every sliver lord you play. When combined with vial and collected company they can allow for combat tricks to either push through extra damage or keep your slivers outside the range of lethal damage. If you expect your opponent to be playing Mutavault (or slivers) its better to lead with Predatory as Sinew has the potential to pump your opponents creatures. It's more difficult to cast sinew because you have few white producing mana sources so keep an eye on your mana.

Sedge Sliver Sedge Sliver - Same benefits of being a lord as sinew and predatory however its greatest value is the ability to regenerate your slivers. If you expect your opponent is holding a non-exile removal spell its best to avoid casting Sedge until you can back it up with a regeneration activation. "!Important!" Sedge Sliver requires a swamp in order to pump your slivers however it ALWAYS provides the regeneration effect regardless of if you have a swamp or not. The manabase of this deck has been strongly influenced to support the Sedge Sliver lord effect. Because Sedge requires red mana to cast you can still play it even if you get stuck behind a blood moon.

Necrotic Sliver - Hits high impact permanents that are otherwise difficult to remove mainboard like : Ensnaring Bridge, Karn Liberated, Ugin the Spirit Dragon, Primevil Titan, Liliana of the Veil, Death's Shadow, Gurmag Angler, Phyrexian Unlife etc...

Blur Sliver - helps to support the turn 4 attack for lethal game plan. Provides more incentive to CoCo on your main phase with the chance that you will get a Blur Sliver and any other sliver that you can now attack with. Best played in match ups where you are trying to kill your opponent as fast as possible. Can be cast behind blood moon

Diffusion Sliver - Provides protection from spot removal and helps you develop your board in the early games. Less effective as the game goes long and your opponent can pay the tax. Since the protection effect is a triggered ability on target flashing in Diffusion Sliver in response to your creature being target will not do you any good. Given the choice between hard casting and casting off of aethervial its better to use the vial as your opponent won't know you are playing Diffusion Sliver, it you cast it your opponent can just kill on of your slivers before it resolves. Side out against non interactive combo decks.

Galerider Sliver - Provides evasion for games where you want to race your opponent and/or the opponents board gets large

Gemhide / Manaweft Sliver - Provides mana fixing and ramp. Allows you to reliably cast Collect Company despite only playing 20 lands, pay for Sedge Sliver regeneration, cast a variety of sideboard cards. The 3/2 split is to avoid cards like Maelstrom pulse, Detention Sphere, and Declaration in Stone. The 5 copies is because much of the deck resolves around what this card enables.

Striking Sliver - Best card to have in a creature vs creature match up because of the combat advantage it provides. Allows for another combat trick with company and vial. After playing several matches without Striking Sliver I found that the deck NEEDED a turn 1 play in order to apply pressure to the fast decks. This list has 10 one drops which gives a good chance for a turn one play. Can be cast behind blood moon.

Sentinel Sliver - Great against other creature decks. Allows you to attack safely without the fear of being blow out by the crack back. Provides increased value when combined with the mana slivers (attack then cast company before damage), Syphon Sliver (gain life when attacking then when blocking). This card is often the first card I cut when switching up the deck and a common card I side out. Does not do well with multiple copies so I'm only playing one.

Aether Vial - Too much to write for me to list out all of its benefits so I will summarize. Free mana for your creatures, Allows you to sneak them into play at instant speed without putting them on the stack and without letting them know which creature is coming in. Great on turn one but significantly worse any other time.

Collected Company - Think of it as two physical slivers at instant speed for the price of four mana and one card. Allows for a greater chance of getting the critical sliver you need from your sideboard (Syphon, Harmonic). Allows for combat tricks. Allows for a blow out if combined with Blur Sliver.
