25/12/2023 Some friends got me back into magic recently after a few years hibernation. Been going through my cards and trying to come up with some ideas for new decks.

I've never really done much in the offical commander format. So when I found this guy Borborygmos Enraged it seemed like a good place to start.

I have piles of cards from my 2 previous bouts of involvement with the game. I don't want to go out spending a bunch of money getting back into it so I built with what I already owned.

I've looked over some other lists, deck techs, etc, but the idea is pretty straight forward. The main focus is ramp for Borborygmos lightning bolt lands. Decided to also make use of a bunch of landfall cards and card fetch I had from an old big stompy green.

Will update as I move through it.

04/02/2024 (2.0) Hatched the idea to use Omnath, Locus of Rage as an alternate commander using the same build. Begin work on optimizing. In practice I havnt been drawn to playing the omnath version much yet. I like my land machine gun too much.

04/03/2024 (3.0) bigger update. Bought some specific cards for this for the first time. Took a bunch out to put in one of my newer decks Rakdos, Lord of Artifacts where they might be more advantageous.

Need to find some more old school white border lands to expand the land more, but stay on theme.
