Still looking for inclusions or changes, all advice welcome!
LANDS (a.k.a. 'Man, those are some garbage lands you've got!') :
Currently I have none of the lands needed for the deck (ideal lands in maybeboard). While I slowly build up the land base, I will be replacing the copies of Terramorphic Expanse with the optimum search lands ( Polluted Delta, Verdant Catacombs, Misty Rainforest).
Current Debate: Snapcaster Mage vs Shardless Agent :
Snapcaster Mage Pros:(potential upside) - Give previously used instant or sorcery more value.(absolute upside) - Instant speed body.Snapcaster Mage Cons:(absolute downside) - Makes difficult decisions with exile targets for Deathrite Shaman and removes potential reduced casting cost on Tombstalker.(potential downside) - If cast on opponent's turn, can NOT use any sorceries ( like Ponder, Hymn to Tourach, Inquisition of Kozilek, ...)
Shardless Agent Pros:(absolute upside) - Free spell! (potential card advantage)(potential upside) - Opens up possibilities for Ancestral VisionCons:(potential downside) - Can possibly whiff, hitting a Counterspell or something similar.
Current Decision: Snapcaster Mage for having better value in the current iteration of the deck. Future changes may lead to this decision changing.
All information below is a "To Do" List.
1: Decide which to use 3x of : Counterspell, Spell Pierce, and Spell Snare (or use a combination of different ones).
2: Replace the 2x Vampire Nighthawk with one of these (Dark Confidant, Force of Will, or [True-Name Nemesis]]).
Currently, a finisher is required. Stick with the 2x Tombstalker, or go for a lower cost beatstick like Nimble Mongoose or Tarmogoyf.
Determine Sideboard contents (rip them from Maybeboard).
Eliminate cards from the Maybeboard and find room for cards that I can't go without.
(OPTIONAL) Budget placeholder ideas : Stifle : Trickbind vs Squelch.
