When faced with a pack of salamanders and rats, your only choice is to run! This deck uses Training Grounds and Biomancer's Familiar to reduce the costs of Pack Rat and Pteramander's abilities, allowing you to swarm the field with ever-growing rats or turn your little water-absorbant Magic Grow dinos into flying Gurmags for cheap! Biomancer's Familiar also lets you activate Pteramander multiple times, and the additional copies of the Training Grounds effect make it easier to get that discounted Rat/Tasigur ability every game.

Updates Add

After some testing, I tweaked the lands to be a little bit less painful since the life loss became an issue in several matches and am now trying out Mission Briefing so as to make use of discarded spells.

Swaps:

-1 Commune with the Gods, -1 Murderous Cut (alt Stubborn Denial); +2 Mission Briefing

-1 Verdant Catacombs; +2 Drowned Catacomb

-1 Biomancer's Familiar (to make room for the extra land)

Other than testing those numbers out, I am now also debating whether or not to play Murderous Cut over Stubborn Denial. The unconditional removal w/o much downside is good, but now that Mission Briefing is in the deck the one copy of Stubborn Denial has more potential... Any thoughts?
