Sight Beyond Sight
Sorcery
Look at the top two cards of your library. Put one of them into your hand and the other on the bottom of your library.
Rebound (If you cast this spell from your hand, exile it as it resolves. At the beginning of your next upkeep, you may cast it from exile without paying its mana cost.)

Thanks for the Tainted Isle update, got a lot of my cards from legacy players and no red flags were raised.
I want to replace Pore Over the Pages with Sight Beyond Sight but Foresee looks like a decent supplement. Also I want to replace Grim Discovery with another Brain in a Jar but that's the extent of that thus far.
The multitude of unique creatures is only because they all serve the same purpose, board presence. I had it to where it was a purely Rise from the Tides deck but I would get run over by the 4th-5th turn. I was shooting for mana cost vs strength at cost as my problem was mana curve. I would like to get more Voldaren Pariah Flip in there but only have the one copy atm.
Also this deck was built from booster packs, haven't actually went for anything specifically except I wanted Brain in a Jar and Rise from the Tides but didn't want a Prized almagram build- I have 3 great mill decks but that's the only play style I really know so far.

UB graveyard

At first glance I looked at this deck and thought it would be stronger in golgari colors rather than simic. Black gives you access to so many powerhouses like Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, Nyx Weaver, Lotleth Troll, and Nighthowler. However, I actually recall berryjon mentioning the potential synergy between looting and delirium in his most recent article. This deck could be poised to utilize that synergy in a big way. To do so though, you'd have to replace some of the cards that rely on large numbers of creatures in the graveyard like Wreath of Geists and Boneyard Wurm with delirium cards of multiple types (Splinterfright might still be good enough since it is such a crazy good card). You'd still want to go into black, but the blue cards could stay since they efficiently enable delirium. Some cards that might be useful are Mindwrack Demon, Grim Flayer, Gnarlwood Dryad, Traverse the Ulvenwald, and To the Slaughter. It's worth noting that looting can also enable madness for cards like Murderous Compulsion and Grave Scrabbler. I think the weakest cards in the deck now are Sight Beyond Sight and Kraken Hatchling. Any push towards a midrange list would also make Invisible Stalker and Artful Dodge worse. Finally, Wildwood Rebirth could probably be replaced by a similar card with better effects like Grapple with the Past.

Shu Yun, Monk Tribal

Sticking to the tribal theme, we have Quiet Contemplation (Narset <3) and Scroll of the Masters. (I guess Myth Realized fits the theme as well, but I don't think it'd be very useful).
The way I see it, you might want some extra draws per turn so Honden of Seeing Winds or Staff of Nin could be interesting (you could also use the other 2 hondens in your commander color identity if you want to; the red one is quite good at removal).
Reusable cards (Buyback, Cipher, Flashback, Rebound) are also very good with Prowess, so I'd recommend you checking cards with those keywords. Haze of Rage, Mystic Speculation, Hidden Strings, View from Above, Increasing Vengeance, Think Twice, Center Soul, Profound Journey, Sight Beyond Sight,...
You could also check some Miracle cards.
Aqueous Form is a good way to ping in some damage and getting a scry every turn.
Monastery Swiftspear and Seeker of the Way (not a monk, but he should be) are early game powerhouses. And what about Narset Transcendent?
I'd get rid of the Diamonds and replace them with the respective medallions (Sapphire Medallion, Ruby Medallion, Pearl Medallion (maybe just the ones of the colors you find yourself using most instant/sorceries)

Hey, I got giddy when I saw a Simic creature deck on MTG Top 8:
It looked like it could use some work. Sight Beyond Sight? Can't say I'm down with that. But I was wondering what you thought of it.
How good it is now, I don't know. That list is from 4/23. A lot has changed. But 4x Crush of Tentacles was very appealing against tokens. :)
It looks interesting as a creature ramp deck with some early disruption and big swings like Tentacles.

Needs more creatures and counter spells. Having no defenses until you draw a Thing in the Ice will leave you very dead very fast. I would suggest Sight Beyond Sight In place of Artificers Epiphany, or Coastal Discovery, as you get to draw 2 with no discard and it give you 2 counter removals on Thing in the Ice. Brain In a Jar should not be in, it's not fast enough for Standard. It is a very fun card, but it won't save you when they swing in on turn 2. I might also suggest 4 Elusive Spellfist. They are fine as early blockers, and they can swing in for some free damage with their unblockable trigger. Talent of the Telepath might also be good, because if you have Spellmastery, (which is likely, given the composition of the deck) you get either 2 or 3 Ice counter triggers for Thing in the Ice. Negate and Scatter to the Winds or Void Shatter would be good either mainboard or sideboard to take down some of their late game large things. Eldrazi ramp in a thing in the new standard. This deck looks playable, it just needs some tweaks.

Bounce/Surge UB Budget Control

DroseraC: My problem with Dark Petition and Remorseless Punishment is that they are too slow - the biggest issue this deck has is just getting run over early - which is why I went with Bone Splinters. This deck is designed to potentially Crush of Tentacles on turn 5 if necessary by utilizing the Rebound mechanic or by using up those tokens to ramp, while tapping/bouncing creatures until then. All the play testing I've done suggests that card draw/filtering isn't a problem with Sight Beyond Sight, so don't really need a tutor effect, but it might be good to sideboard in against control decks.
Looking at a comparison of our decks, I think yours is more traditionally control, while mine is more of a tempo/control mix - utilizing rebound to activate surge earlier. I think yours also might be more consistent in some situations, but mine is 1/4th of the price, so trade-offs.

Deciding on these final 13 cards to cut is getting really difficult. Below I refer to one or two of the custom categories.
Thinking of cutting one of the three cost reducers: Goblin Electromancer, Jace's Sanctum, and Seal of the Guildpact.
Considering reducing the number of card drawers. Should I cut any of these: Brainstorm, Comparative Analysis, Illusory Ambusher, Last Thoughts, Lu Xun, Scholar General, or Preordain?
I think I should also cut something from the Non Draw Advantage group. These are mostly cards that give me some form of card advantage or extra casts but do not specifically draw cards. Fact or Fiction, Mizzix's Mastery, Knowledge Pool, Sight Beyond Sight might be candidates.
How about Mirror Match and Reins of Power? They are the only cards not sorted into a category.
Should I instead be looking to reduce the number of combat threats? I have already cut any that didn't also fit into another category to help further the other wincons.

plusmental: That is a great idea. I've incorporated your suggestions into the deck, and I'm starting to see combo-potential, albeit a little slow but not that slow for standard. The main interactive pieces of this deck are Crush of Tentacles and Demonic Pact, with the additions of Ojutai's Breath and Sight Beyond Sight, it really draws out the the deck's flexibility. I just hope it doesn't become a deck that requires too many pieces to work effectively.
