Giant Ox crews Vehicles using its toughness rather than its power.

Hey, just passing by and dropping Giant Ox which goes very well with Consulate Dreadnought or Colossal Plow.

Hey, well done list so far on a low budget. Elsha with Vehicles is an interesting choice.
Some advice to get started on revision/optimization is to streamline creatures and lands to make Elsha better. Consider reducing the creature count down to 10 of the best creatures here for Vehicles strategy and/or crewing? (ordered by CMC)
- Toolcraft Exemplar
- Etherium Sculptor
- Giant Ox
- Kotori, Pilot Prodigy
- Depala, Pilot Exemplar
- Foundry Inspector
- Losheel, Clockwork Scholar
- Vedalken Archmage
- Katsumasa, the Animator
- Aeronaut Admiral
The less creatures the better for Elsha. Cut most creatures for lands and ramp? Elsha doesn't work with lands thus having less can also make Elsha better. Consider 32 lands with many budget low mana cost mana rocks to replace some lands?
To help with deck building add all the lands you want to play, even just basic lands, to see how many spots are left to fill or how many cards you need to cut to add more lands. Some budget lands to consider adding:
- Spire of Industry
- Mech Hangar
- Exotic Orchard
- Mystic Monastery
- Shivan Reef
- Rugged Prairie
- Prairie Stream
- Port Town
- Buried Ruin
Good luck with your deck.

I have a secondary version of this deck focused on mass token generation. To get this deck, swap out the cards listed in the Maybeboard section for the following:
StopShot on What are the best defensive …

Recently I've been interested in putting creatures in my EDH decks that are solely dedicated to playing defense, blocking big creatures in combat. On gatherer its easy to type up "Defender" to find a large selection of creatures that do just that, but not every highly defensive creature has that keyword and I wanted to make a post sharing creature cards with great defensive capabilities in any color. (Preferably with cheap CMC's.)
Some great defensive creatures I've found are:
Beloved Chaplain , Commander Eesha , Crypt Sliver , Darksteel Myr , Dawn Elemental , Deepwood Ghoul , Degavolver , Dragon's Eye Savants , Dream Fighter , Everdawn Champion , Giant Ox , Mischievous Poltergeist , Mistmeadow Skulk , Mother of Runes , Phantom Nantuko , Predator Ooze , Seraph of the Sword , Serendib Sorcerer , Serene Master , Sorceress Queen .
Does anyone know some others I could add to this list?

Hello Breakaway,
Kaldheim just came out with a new big butt creature in Giant Ox and, as a result, it is a good replacement for one your 0/4 creatures.
Thanks,
Philosopher

NerdGore: I appreciate the feedback! Giant Ox definitely seems like a good option for the deck. Getting out a creature on t1 is still pretty important so i'm hesitant to completely take out Yoked Ox. Since most of the enchantments in the deck are 1cmc, Starnheim Courser loses a lot of it's value, though I definitely could see it's use in similar decks with higher curves.

Nice deck man! I reckon Starnheim Courser and Giant Ox are made for this deck!
