I love these little guys. Wanted 3. Puts me at 62 cards, but oh well.

Revisions!

I've dropped some of the all-over-the-place removal options from the sideboard. I see what the intent was, but I'm trying to overwhelm them with Zombies. Tragic Slip has moved to the MB as a 4 of. I either force damage through unblocked, or they block and endure the slip. If they remove my guys (as Inferno Titan and Whipflare tend to do) then I simply Tragic Slip to match them. It also allows me to control WHEN they use their removal.
Dropped Mikaeus, the Unhallowed for now. I WANT him in, he just won't fit and he'll never see play against the one deck that he clobbers.
Added Negate to the SB. I need to control the spells used against me. I don't care about creatures or counter-magic. I care about Unburial Rites, Sever the Bloodline, etc.
Still looking for room for 2 Corrosive Gales in the SB as well. Those plus the Ratchet Bombs should keep Spirits, Humans, and other tokens in check.
Let go of the Ghost Quarters. Kessig Wolf Run isn't a big concern for me. Tragic Slips kill Inkmoth Nexus' just fine. Moorland Haunt shouldn't be relevant either - again, with the potential Corrosive Gales and other existing cards.
'What about Autumn's Veil,' you ask? It's typically a 1-2 of in a deck and Distress can tackle that if it's an issue.

I've been putting all my acquisitions towards this, so the 'cheap' label doesn't apply as much anymore.
I've been alternating between using Omnath, Locus of Mana and Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger. Omnath is great for getting big things out a little earlier and is awesome when I have Hall of Gemstone working, meaning other people can't use their own color of mana on someone else's turn, but I always have green. Using Vorinclex takes longer, but allows for some amazing stuff. I got 10 10/10 oozes out soon after him. It would almost be better if he didn't restrict others mana so he wouldn't be targeted as much. The hexproof and especially shroud equipments are really needed with him.

Traft Emerges
swamp_water, 13 years ago
As much as i was against it in the beginning, I've added Geist of Saint Traft because with less creatues in this deck and more focus on control cards, having him adds to the decks strengths.

Due to the fact that I haven't really kept up with the sets since before M12, I thought i'd have a look see at all my decks to tweak them. Lo and behold, I come across this gem of a card - Visions of Beyond... What a perfect fit for my Land destruction milling deck!
Have played around with the land base and a couple of spells to fit them in, as they are invaluable for keeping card advantage.

Meant U/W spirits on the last post

OmegaZefram, 13 years ago
Reduced the number of Ruinators by 1, I was finding that I often did not have enough creatures in the grave. Also reduced the number of tower giests, I found that they were not cutting for me, armored skaab so much better in this deck. Added two dream twist

Removed Warstorm Surge for more opportunity to play Burn at the Stake because its my new favorite and it works immediatly not long term.
Added 2 Shrine of Burning Rage because a well placed one can win a game. (gonna be sad when they rotate with Birds of Paradise)

Oh. And this is as budget as it can be without the planewalkers or the swords. Any comments is greatly appreciated.

Also added 1 Infiltration Lens in place of Elixir of Immortality. Figured the card draw might come in handy. Sure there is only one in the whole deck but I usually only need to draw late in the game, so there is hope yet. Also considering adding a planeswalker in the mix. Koth of the Hammer

artifacts, enchatments and flying

I've been using the deck and it's got a pretty good beatdown, my only problems are enchantments (like Oblivion Ring or certain swords). SO I'll be switching out the Fogs for Beast Within and see how that works out. Hopefully it'll help me.
CURSE YOU TOKEN DECKS
Caviarmy, 13 years ago
They drive me insane. Went 2-2 at my shop last night:
Game 1: Red Deck Wins. Round 1 I was taken down to 3 life with the beatdown of RDW; however I was able to come back thanks to Sylvok Lifestaff and late-game removal. Round 2 I was mana fucked. Round 3 my opponent was mana-fucked and ended the game on turn 6 without a single permanent on the board after I Acidic Slime'd twice and then some.
Game 2: Mirror match against a Bant Pod that used Mimic Vat. While I like my deck as is, playing bant pod vs. Bant Pod that has Mimic Vat is very frustrating. Every game is just a race to Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite. Round 1, I got her out first and he couldn't recover. Round 2 he got her out first and I couldn't recover. Round 3, no one got her out and it was an attrition match where I had removed two mimic vats, both of our Dungeon Geists were on the board, and I barely came out on top.
Game 3: B/W token deck. Fuck. Round 1: he played 4 Lingering Souls, 3 flashed back, and 3 board enchantments. There was no recovering. Round 2: Sideboarded 9 cards against him, Nevermore in opening hand, Turn 2 Nevermore Lingering Souls. My opponent plays turn 2 Stony Silence (anticipating Ratchet Bomb and dealing with my pod). He plays 4 Gather the Townsfolk, 2 board enchantments, I'm overwhelmed. Frustrating match, coupled with some questionable shuffling methods by my opponent.
Game 4: Bant Solar Flareish deck. Young Wolves, Images, Mimic Vat, Sun Titans, Pods. Very frustrating match that I went 0-2 in. Playing against Mimic Vat as a pod deck is intensely rough; almost every move I made worked against me in some way. It also didn't help that the one Birthing Pod I played in those 2 games got O-Ringed twice and Acidic Slime'd once.
I'm left wondering if doing -1 Green Sun's Zenith and -2 Sylvok Lifestaff for +3 Mimic Vat would be worthwhile. I was very fond of Sylvok Lifestaff when I actually drew it, but Mimic Vat just ruined my day when playing against similar decks that used it and I didn't.
Suggestions welcome!

So played in the Charlotte Standard Open, and did Ok. Ok, so I went 1-3, drop, but hear me out. First match against BW tokens, and I dominated first game with two Nobles. So happy I put them to 4of. Then I side in Shatters and Acts... And can't draw past 3 land for two games in a row. Convincing him to put out 6 spirits so I could actually Act them all away with three lands was the highlight of the remaining games. Also the first game reminded me why I play Sorin Markov; repeatable killing of 2-toughness creatures is absolute gold in this format. Gaining life while you're doing it is just icing. Second match against a Blue/Red CounterBurn sort of deck. Creatureless deck made most of mine completely useless. So of course I draw nothing but kill spells, and never get a creature to stick thanks to shocks and counterspells. Third match was what the deck was made to beat: Wolf Run Ramp. Absolutely dominated two games in a row, to the point I felt bad. Fourth match I actually don't remember too well, I do know I lost without much competition due to more manascrew. The sheer number of times I was sitting at 3 land, waiting for a fourth makes me think I may need to re-evaluate the land balance. I'd like to find some instant-speed sweep, but I may make do with whipflares instead. I did borrow a full playset of Blackcleave Cliffs for the event, so that helped. And have a plan for more Control-oriented decks. Honestly the format is so aggro-heavy right now that I don't plan on needing it too often. Surprisingly I was never sad to draw Harrowing Journey. I'd prefer Sign in Blood, but I'll take what I can get.

Coloquei a Priest of Titania e a Elvish Harbinger e transformei em Legacy. Titania funcinou melhor no playtest do que a Joraga Treespeaker.

+1 and comments and improvements appreciated! :)eyeofthedragon, 13 years ago
I decided to stay with B/W Though i moved a Think Twice and a Mana Leak out to the Board and put the Blue Sun's Zeniths in the main. after play testing the ability to draw 4 cards on turn 7 if I didn't need the counter spell to get the day of judgement I was needing really makes the difference.

Pues es el deck isnpirado en mi amado nekoguero , me inspire cuando vi a sama de rodillas junto a nekoguero y dije a cabron ...

Took out the unbreathing hordes and ghoulraisers they were not directly in line with my strategy. Added undying evil to keep my guys alive OR let them mill me more (by coming into play a second time). Also added Tragic Slip so that I can have at least some removal. Will keep playtesting, I am worried there are too many spells (as opposed to creatures) but I will see if undying evil helps with that.

I may add some cards from the following list, as I get them:
Thousand Year Elixer
