Okay so i'm swapping out one Rune-Scarred Demon to test both of the cards in the maybe board so please feel free to give me your opinions and take on it. I want the deck to be flexabled, but still keep its theme as i think there is a lot of power behind Diregraf Captain.

Been losing to u/b zombies so i have changed the strategy around. I dropped the Myr superions from the main they and added them to the side, and added two hard counters.

The idea is to get out a horde of wolves, buff them with the Mayor of Avabruck  ^Flip and Immerwolf, then smash through your opponents defenses using Pyreheart Wolf, to restrict the opponents blocking, and if something does die, play moonmist to regenerate the whole horde. nasty huh?

and of course, all the creatures in this deck are doubles, so Doubling Chant plus Sarkhan 's haste and +1/+1, a horde becomes an army in a flash, that needs to be blocked by 2 or more creatures, with its biggest creature becoming a 25/16 in ideal circumstances.... of course if you have the cards out for that... then enemy should be long dead by then.

I got the deck together and tested its metal vs some friends. The deck works pretty well over all. When a PW comes out, even if you have know way to defend it, your opponent usually take the next turn dealing with it rather then killing you.

Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker and Karn Liberated were pretty awesome. If tezzy and sarkhan can't make enough 5/5 's to get the job done, then I can move on to the big boys. However if tezzy and sarkhan are enough, then I can use bolas and karn as a discard outlet for liliana's +1, Along with and lands past 5.

The only down side so far is the games take a while.

The best part about decks like these is that they'll only get better as more PW's are release!

vs Human Sacrifice deck 2-0 (win)

Played against a less experienced player running a slow human-sac deck. Dont feel like it worked fast enough. first go went as most of my control decks go, slow start, looked kinda grim, then i dropped a fattie and the tables turned.

second round had Chancellor of the Tangle, a Forest and Viridian Emissary in hand. dropped the land, revealed the chancellor and just kept swinging with the emissary till he was down to twelve, didnt get another land in hand till turn 3 .kept him under tabs till I dropped Vorinclex, Voice of HungerGC which allowed me to play Divination. he killed vorinclex with Skirsdag Flayer i killed skirsdag flayer with Chancellor of the Spires and his own Tragic Slip then dropped Sturmgeist and Chancellor of the Tangle to swing for the win.

Took out the Stoic Rebuttals for another Mana Leak and 2 Treasure Mages. I really want to be able to pull my big creatures out soon. Just not countering often enough to warrant keeping them and drawing a bunch of counters instead of creatures stinks.

Sideboarded: 3xBlazing Torch; 3xWooden Stake; 3xNevermore; 3xWitchbane Orb; 3xSmite the Monstrous;

Mainboarded: 1xSmite the Monstrous over Rebuke. 3xGhost Quarter so they didn't take up Sideboard space, in a Mono-color deck it's fine. Traded Midnight Guard's for Champion of the Parish. A while ago I added True Conviction just rocks here.

I'm getting excited about what is coming next with Avacyn Restored this Spring so I can replace Grand Abolisher, Oblivion Ring, Honor of the Pure, and True Conviction come Fall!

Rakish Heirs are out

As it says, took out the two Heirs to put in another Aristocrat and another Child. I like having a good curve (Noble-2 Drop-Captain/Automaton) and the Heirs didn't do all that much compared to having another 2 Drop in the deck. Also Aristocrat is the best.

I tweaked a few things in the deck/sideboard, added some lavamancers and another shrine, added gut shot and act of aggression to my sideboard. I haven't played this deck since changing it yet, so we'll see how things go after I get to playtest a little more

Based on JAlphaOmega's advice: - I added in a Sword of Fire and Ice and a Sword of Feast and Famine. The swords should all provide for total protection. - The Paths have been replaced by Dispatch. I didn't even know something like this was out there, thanks for the great suggestion! - For the moment, I sideboarded all of my Bonehoards and Kemba's. The Bonehoards are only useful when I have an opponent with a lot of creatures in the graveyard, since I don't have a lot of them in mine. While Kemba is nice, I don't think she is as imperative as the other creatures. Any other recommendations are welcome!

After all that overhaul still isn't playing out how I want. Not enough umph to it got steadily pounced against a tight standard B/R Vamp deck my friend made. I like the Disperse/ Leonin Relic-Warder, nothing like permanent exile. Phyrexian Revoker I am always glad to see you, thinking of completing my set. Gonna get that Venser Vs. Koth thing and gonna add another Venser, the Sojourner. Shake it up some.

Ok I have some of those platinum_demon, update -2 Ostracize +2 Despise. I also have some Distress, Horrifying Revelation, Inquisition of Kozilek, Mind Warp, Mire's Toll, Psychic Miasma, Pulling Teeth, Pulse of the Dross, and so on if it would help.

This is just an entertaining deck I made to compete in FNM. It's got quite a bit of early game threat with Mirran Crusader and the easy to generate tokens, and some scary late game potential with Champion of the Parish, Elspeth Tirel and Hero of Bladehold. While Elspeth and Hero won't pump Champion, they do produce a ton of tokens, and Champion gets pumped from Devotion.

I added Red for Faithless Looting and to sideboard artifact hate against Grafdigger's Cage. Hopefully it works well. I picked red over blue for price (Badlands is much cheaper than Underground Sea) and for artifact hate.
