Upgrading landbase

I'm currently upgrading the landbase in my Bant flicker-deck. These are currently on my buylist:
Shocklands (Hallowed Fountain )
Scrylands (Temple of Mystery )
Painlands (Brushland )
Tapped unless you control... (Hinterland Harbor )
Hideaway lands (Mosswort Bridge and/or Windbrisk Heights )
Misc (Ice Floe , Soldevi Excavations , Safe Haven )

Is there any of these you would advice against buying, or others you'd recommend? Fiters and fetches are out of my current budget.

What I'm asking for is some advice for specific lands to buy, not all lands available in my colors. I.e. should I skip the scrylands and play fastlands (Razorverge Thicket ) instead?

I run Shock-, Fast-, Pain-, and the "tapped unless you control" lands. I prefer 90% of my land base to enter untapped, and the worst penalty I accept is coming into play tapped (which is why I don't run the filters). My group's meta is pretty quick, though, usually lethal around turn 5 or 6 so speed is important. If speed isn't a huge concern, definitely run the Temples! Fetches and duals are out of my price-range, too, so I don't run them.

For additional mana fixing I would recommend Gemstone Mine and the Vivid cycle, e.g. Vivid Creek . The Vivids are slow, but I'm rarely disappointed to see them in my starting hand. I also run Command Tower and the appropriate Shard land, if applicable. ( Seaside Citadel )

In some decks the Cycling Lands ( Lonely Sandbar ) can be good, as they can be cycled later in the game. I prefer the Onslaught ones over the Saga ones.

Hideaways are good if they play into your strategies; personally I don't use them. Reliquary Tower and Rogue's Passage are great additions depending on your deck's strategy.

Here's a guide that I found very helpful. Make sure to look at the second page "Supportive EDH Lands". Hope this helps!

Dont play the fast lands. If your table is competent, theyll end up slowing you down in later portions of the game.

Play the shocks.

Taplands might as well be duals in non 5-color

Scrylands are generally underwhelming

Maze of Ith is the only ice floe type land you should even consider playing.

Reflecting Pool , Riftstone Portal , Reliquary Tower should be in the list if they arent already.

In general play mosswort over windbrisk--its condition is the most easily met of the hideaways.

I do not like the temples. I like playing comes in to play untapped stuff.

Temples have served me well. But I only use them in my sliver edh deck where I like to see what's coming up next

I've decided to cut the crap and go simple:
Breeding Pool , Temple Garden , Hallowed Fountain (Shocks)
Hinterland Harbor , Glacial Fortress , Sunpetal Grove (Checks)
Brushland , Adarkar Wastes , Yavimaya Coast (Pains)
Command Tower
Reliquary Tower
Alchemist's Refuge
Temple of the False God
Krosan Verge
Evolving Wilds
Terramorphic Expanse
I might add in scrylands again since they can be bounced with Venser, the Sojourner , but for now I think avoiding tempo loss is the best.

Fast lands are pretty good too. Razorverge Thicket and the likes.

Seems like you're on the right track, but I think the scry lands are a little better than most folks give them credit for. In the early game I find them incredibly useful for finding your next land drop. And if the game drags on past turn 7 or 8, Temple of Enlightenment becomes a much better topdeck than Tundra . They're really only "bad" to drop on turns 3-6, but if you don't run too many other lands that come in to play tapped I doubt you'll really have problems with that.

What's more, with a little creativity they become better than most other dual lands. Any general that cares about the top card of your library loves them, and that's a pretty long list of generals. And as you mentioned they can give you added utility with cards like Venser, the Sojourner or Meloku the Clouded Mirror . I'd give them a go, and if you don't like them you'll have no trouble trading them away while they're in standard. And hey, they're only like $5 each. You really can't find dual lands for less.

A great combo for mana fixing/accel is Riftstone Portal + Mox Diamond.

Coming into play tapped slows you down. Scrap the Scrylands and use Mirri's Guile instead. Scrap the Painlands too. If you're willing to pay one life for the right color once, why not pay one life to fetch the right land and thin your deck out at the same time? Misty Rainforest, Windswept Heath, Flooded Strand. Terminal Moraine is like a Krosan Verge that doesn't come into play tapped, and there's always Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse. And if you're one of those people super against Fetchlands, I'd recommend the Hybrid Filters from the Lorwyn block (Flooded Grove, Mystic Gate, Wooded Bastion). They are just like Checklands, but if one of them comes into play without the required land-type, it will produce colorless mana instead of entering tapped and producing none. Nimbus Maze is similar too. Best of luck!

Wow, I just read the Filter/Fetch thing. Oops. Proxy time? Bant Panorama is decent. The slower fetchlands might be considerably cheaper: Grasslands/Flood Plain. Also, I always liked Seachrome Coast & Razorverge Thicket.

Amulet of Vigor helps with the tapped issue.

The scrylands (Temple of Enlightenment) have synergy with Venser, the Sojourner, so I'm trying them as well. I'm hoping better draws is worth the tempo loss. Shout out if you disagree. Will invest in the standard legal fetches as well for synergy with Titania, Protector of Argoth.

In general, do others prefer filters or fetches?
