Back in the day there was an old extended/type 1.5 life combo deck that worked by getting out Task Force or later Daru Spiritualist then targeting them repeatedly with a zero cost ability like the ones on Outrider en-Kor et. al, or equipment like Lightning Greaves (note with the boots you need 2 creatures out). Once you have an arbitrarily large butt on your guy (Graham's number is my go to for this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1N6cOC2P8fQ) you cash them in for life equal to their toughness with Worthy Cause.

Unfortunately this deck has some problems. The combo itself still has the same problem it had back when it was a constructed deck: infinite life doesn't win the game. Additionally, as with all EDH combo decks, redundancy is an issue, but it turns out that 2 of the piece are now rebels, so Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero can give some redundancy in addition to running interchangeable parts.

Big Butts: Task Force and Daru Spiritualist

Free Targeters: Outrider en-Kor, Shaman en-Kor, Shuko, and Lightning Greaves

Sacrifice for Life: Animal Boneyard, Miren, the Moaning Well, Condemn, Worthy Cause, and Avenger en-Dal

Win Conditions: Test of Endurance, Phyrexian Processor, Felidar Sovereign, Serra Avatar, and Celestial Convergence.

As a fallback, the deck can chain together some rebels then Mirror Entity for the win. Of note, all of the wraths in the deck will keep at least some rebels around to help stall until critical mass is achieved for a rebel yell.
