A deck I made according to a special ruleset my friends and I decided to try out:- Mono-coloured EDH decks ...there's 5 of us so we each took a colour and I chose Blue- Your Commander can be Rare, all other cards must be Common- All cards must cost > $1 ...minor leniency on this point (I think I have 1 card that goes over)- Your complete deck must cost > $50

Given these restrictions, this is what I came up with. Enclave Elite + Energy Tap or High Tide and Serpent of the Endless Sea + Aquitect's Will , Convincing Mirage , or Spreading Seas are my two big combo threats. Ray of Command + Ghostly Flicker is also pretty cool. I feel like Temporal Fissure and a number of cheap spells could be a pretty big deal. I'm curious to see if I'll actually need the refueling potential of Feldon's Cane and Drafna's Restoration .

Other than that I just want to slow the game down, stop my opponents from doing anything scary, and build up a nifty army of flying tokens. I'd also like to point out this is the first MtG deck I've ever developed on my own.

Any suggestions or advice would be welcome.
