In my commander group, I asked what the most hated playstyle would be by the other players, and the answer was resoundingly "Land Destruction". Of course that means I had to build a land destruction deck, but not to be evil, instead the idea is to level the playing field and shut down some exceptional players while giving those that are being mana screwed some time to build up. It's essentially a weird and uncomfortable group hug. These are all cards I already owned, but I'd be willing to add better cards provided they are budget friendly.
