Horobi Super Killing all the Things, AKA Deadly Banding

I've had Horobi, Death's Wail for a while now, just sitting in my collection. Then while looking at various janky commanders someone mentioned having a deck with him and using Baton of Morale to kill creatures. A quick gatherer search into interesting ways to target things and I was hooked!

Obviously there's lots of room for improvement. I probably need more lands. I probably need more instants. Some more graveyard hate would be good. But it sure was fun to build!

Mana Base

I really should have more land, and I thought I did...so I'll have to revisit that. I decided the mana base should be cheap and janky, like Horobi, Death's Wail itself. I could use Caged Sun, but why??

• Meteorite Handily kills almost anything with Horobi out
• Pilgrim's Eye & Skittering Surveyor Nice to have a creature that fetches land, they tend to die a lot in this deck
• Pristine Talisman
• Scuttlemutt A true hero in this deck. Adds mana and becomes Avatar of Woe with Horobi
• Seer's Lantern
• Traveler's Amulet & Wanderer's Twig Oof, really scraping the bottom of the barrel here.
• Twisted Abomination Regeneration comes in handy

• Augur of Skulls Regeneration again
• Culling Dais Instant sacrifice for a cause
• Dark Prophecy Might as well, right?
• Jar of Eyeballs
• Painful Lesson, Phyrexian Gargantua, Succumb to Temptation
• Skullclamp Equip targets...

• Squee's Toy Who knew Squee was playing with a death ray?
• Baton of Morale Here it is: death by banding! Thankfully you don't need to understand how it works.
• Sacred Armory "You have been selected by the good people of Slash-Co to reap the benefits of the new Nev-r-Dull knife edge! Here, shake hands with the Slash-Co! scream "Handle first, handle first"
• Ersatz Gnomes Death by GNOME LAZ0RS!
• Predator, Flagship I assume Commander Greven il-Vec helps creatures "fly"
• Jade Monolith Just wow.
• Barl's Cage Kind of useful without Horobi. Deadly with.

Triggers

• Shadow Alley Denizen Wouldn't you like "destroy target creature" as a rider to all your spells?
• Dragon Shadow Sits in your graveyard waiting for big creatures to attach itself to and devour. Now THAT'S a dragon shadow!
• Orc Sureshot No more picking off Saprolings for you buddy.
• Dreamspoiler Witches I might need to add more instants to get the full kick out of this...
• Caustic Crawler I almost want to put Evolving Wilds in just for this.

Truly repeatable

• Plagued Rusalka
• Hex Parasite X can be 0 of course.
• Dauthi Embrace Gotta watch out for that...
• Consumptive Goo GooOOOooOoOoo...
• Tetzimoc, Primal Death Snipes from the safety of your hand
• Kuro, Pitlord I will pay blood for MURDER! So metal.

Once per turn

• Darkblast
• Nefashu Finally lives up to its sick flavor text.
• Rathi Trapper
• Restless Bones Regenerates and kills.
• Ferropede The permanent doesn't need to have counters...And late in the game when Horobi is dead this can hurt with Sacred Armory
• Weed-Pruner Poplar Just watch out that he doesn't get too enthusiastic and "prune" Horobi
