An aggro deck built around white humans

• Champion of the Parish is our ideal turn one play. This guy serves as inevitability if left unanswered. Grows very quickly outside of Lightning Bolt range, and in this way, starts to set real pressure on to our opponents. We also enjoy the same +1/+1 idea with Thalia's Lieutenant

• We have some amount of taxing effects with Thalia, Guardian of Thraben and Tithe Taker; and prison effects with Imposing Sovereign. This should slow our opponent down a little for us to get our damage in there

• Dauntless Bodyguard is a nice piece of protection, in that it will protect our most valuable threat against removal. In an expanded budget, this would be replaced with Giver of Runes

• Mirran Crusader feels fantastic when we can get it down. Pro Black means we duck Assassin's Trophy, Abrupt Decay, Fatal Push, Dismember on.

• Brave the Elements lets us to get through our final lethal attack against a likely developing opponent board. By this point, we know that we need to end the game now, or we may as well tap out. Brave the elements gives us a surprise to be able to nullify some opponent blockers

2022 update:

I'm considering running this with Lurrus of the Dream-Den, but this means dropping Mirran Crusader.

I know I'd like to make space for

• Giver of Runes as an upgrade on Dauntless Bodyguard
• Aether Vial
• Leonin Arbiter

I'm also considering if there is space for

• Thraben Inspector to get a little card draw
• Mutavault utilising the mono coloured nature of this deck to add an extra avenue of attack.

This means dropping:

• Mirran Crusader has to go if I take Lurrus of the Dream-Den
• Soldier of the Pantheon, being that it has life gain on it, probably doesn't deserve its place on the mainboard - if at all.
• I think that Honor of the Pure might be on the chopping block. It's always been nice for me, but I just don't know if it's proactive enough for this day and age.

This would then mean a mainboard update of:

• -4 Mirran Crusader
• +4 Aether Vial
• -4 Soldier of the Pantheon
• +4 Thraben Inspector
• -4 Honor of the Pure
• +4 Leonin Arbiter
• -4 Dauntless Bodyguard
