You have many ways to destroy your opponents creatures with deathtouch. You can fight other creatures with cards like Rabid Bite.

You can also attack players with some cards directly and cut their life total in half (or more), and there are some cards like Vraska, Golgari Queen and Vraska, Scheming Gorgon.
