Epicurus Good history, thanks. I don't want to bog down this thread, but biology hasn't ever been a major concern of creature types, unless they're cute or impressive mammals. There's no taxonomically convincing reason to separate Bronze Sable and Joven's Ferrets but group Clinging Anemones and Man-o'-War as jellyfish, and it gets even worse outside of the animal kingdom. Plant and Fungus are as narrow as it gets.

Did you mean to put Clinging Anemones in this deck?

Not to mention the questionable typing of Giant Solifuge and Clinging Anemones or Glowing Anemone.

Evolve triggers only when a creature enters the battlefield. It will not trigger due to a permanent becoming a creature, whether it's through Crew or otherwise.

Also, please remember to link cards: Sky Skiff, Clinging Anemones

Its easier to get mana for the big cards if your commander is Thada Adel, Acquisitor. Steal every Sol Ring thats not out immediately. To get Thada attacking on turn 3 (before most blockers) use Svyelunite Temple, Saprazzan Skerry, the Sol Ring you already have or Lightning Greaves.

With either commander the following cards fit pretty well.

If you are playing multi-player Reins of Power is amazing. Trade with one guy and use everything to attack another guy.

Alexi's Cloak protects a big guy and is functionally a counterspell when you flash it in to fizzle a spell. An alternative to this is Neurok Stealthsuit which you can pop around for 2 mana and make anybody Shrouded, completely screwing any targeting effect.

Stolen Identity can copy a creature or artifact pretty much every round.

Curse of the Swine is a targeted creature wipe that exiles.

Mindshrieker is cheap to play and can become incredibly huge while burning cards into a graveyard.

For any of the above cards I would probably cut Clinging Anemones, Vapor Snag and I'd go down to 31 Islands (because you also have 9 mana artifacts).

One other card might be Portcullis. This one is dangerous but you have at least 4 "everything to your hand" cards in case it becomes a liability. This card is a win-con if cast at the right moment.
