The main theme of this deck is to utilize the prowess mechanic within the Kahns of Tarkir block specifically in the Jeskai clan.

Ideally you get out Monastery Swiftspear turn one and Seeker of the Way turn two and start to swell the creatures from there with instants. Monastery Siege gives a little added protection with the dragons ability to make the spells your opponents cast that target your permanents cost 2 more to cast. Jeskai Ascendancy triggers essentially another prowess and untaps those creatures as well. As a bonus you can draw and discard a card if you choose to do so.
