Bad Friends (Post Rotation needs help)

Standard BGW (Abzan, Junk) Superfriends

GrandMasterPenta

Sideboard

Sure, everyone has that one terrible friend... but not everyone has THESE Terrible Friends.

Let's talk friends.

Basic Summary

The deck, of course, runs as a normal Superfriends deck. Run some removal, a smidge of creatures, and a good amount of Planeswalkers.

Removal: See and Destroy

While most of the removal states "Destroy", I've thrown in a few that specify "Exile" instead of "Destroy" just for our favorite - now dead - milling muscle mass, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger or anything else indestructible. . . But I must say, It's real funny when your opponent drops Kozilek, the Great Distortion and it gets wrecked by Immolating Glare as long as they can't counter it. Just as a disclaimer, make sure you are willing to play Immolating Glare and having it countered if they have cards in hand. Abzan Charm and Utter End also work splendid against a Gideon, Ally of Zendikar on your opponents side of the table when they go to +1 him into a 5/5 Indestructable creature.

Sideboard: The Junkyard's Future thought

I just gave you a fair amount of cards to work with. Keep that in mind, because I'll be working with them post-rotation.

  • Dromoka's Command . . . If anyone actually plays Tainted Remedy, you need to be prepared to destroy the living shit out of that card. It WILL be the death of all your terrible friends after playing four Siege Rhinos, or even two for that matter, and after giving Sorin multiple +1 counters. Besides that, a fight mechanic is always nice to have.

  • Arashin Cleric and Surge of Righteousness come in against burn decks ( such as Abzan Red) or any aggressive deck strategy.

Updates Add

Took out Valorous Stance and Abzan Charm for removal spells such as Anguished Unmaking and Declaration in Stone. Siege Rhino will be gone from standard so I replaced him with the lovely Archangel Avacyn  Flip and Anafenza, the Foremost with Hangarback Walker. The Walker will serve as an easy Token generator . . if they don't have a solution for him, or they simple don't want to kill him and get you more tokens, then they could be staring down a huge walker. Sorin, Grim Nemesis is a higher drop than Sorin, Solemn Visitor was but he's ability are well worth the two extra mana in his cmc.
