Riptide Pilferer Discussion

@Upyron Thanks for the suggestions! Riptide Pilferer is pretty tempting with the potential for MAJOR discard and Trickbind would be a nice addition in here but would have to really weigh out what id cut to make room for it... that split second is awesome! Spell Burst on the other hand im not so sure about... with playing with the Ninjustu cost so frequently the "pay X" and buyback cost just wouldn't pan out. I actually used to have x4 Familiar's Ruse in the mainboard but after playing a few matches the Spellstutter Sprite's REALLY do enough on their own especially as the Faerie army grows and they get put back into your hand for bigger spells. again i appreciate the upvote and suggestions; thank you!

I don't know how I feel about Riptide Pilferer. It either takes up the 2-mana spot, or it doesn't do anything until turn 4, which is also not great. How does it work for you? I'm interested to hear what it does in your case

Fish Food this is my Modern Merfolk, you can check it out if you want to see what options are out there. If you ever want to play it competitively, however, I will have to say that AEther Vial is an absolute must. Unfortunately, it is an expensive card, but the deck is borderline unplayable without them if you plan on playing at events. Mutavault is also really high up there, as it is a land, but then becomes a huge threat on turn 3 or 4. Riptide Pilferer and Spellskite both maindecked may seem like odd choices in here, but they are based on my meta.

Riddlekeeper fits very well, and Jace's Archivist gets more bang for Jace's Erasure's buck.

Riptide Pilferer's use is very limited, and Serendib Sorcerer also doesn't seem very valuable.

Hi, I'm creating a mill deck and I'm having trouble narrowing down the cards I want to use. I'd really appreciate if anyone could help me narrow down my cards to 60, or tell me if it would be more advantageous to have a deck with 60+ cards in this situation. Any cards I originally had in my deck, but removed are in my Maybeboard just in case. Feel free to post any suggestions or critiques- thanks!

The strategy of this deck is relatively simple- use Doorkeeper with defenders to mill cards and stall against creatures while using spells to mill additional cards. Draw cards and punish the opponent with Sphinx's Tutelage Use Drift of Phantasms to search for any of my spells if necessary (practically all of the enchantments use 3 mana). If I don't need these enchantments, use Drift of Phantasms to defend + contribute to Doorkeeper's mill.

Millage Pillage

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks so much!!!
