Strategies

** Use Argentum Masticore to control the board. Get value out of his discard effect by way of really high CNC creatures like Draco and Broodstar.

Additionally, use Phial of Galadriel with cards like Idle Thoughts, Bringer of the Blue Dawn, Song of Creation and Sea-Gate Wreckage to gain more draw value and more options for Argentum Masticore.

Vorel of the Hull Clade with Karn's Bastion synergizes with Ramos, Dragon Engine, leading to potential turn 8 victory via commander damage. Vorel of the Hull Clade and Karn's Bastion also work with Magistrate's Scepter for an infinite turn engine.

Grimoire of the Dead can be used later in the game to cheat out creatures discarded by Argentum Masticore's effect, leading to a very large board.

Earthlink can be useful to double the strength of Argentum Masticore's effect, though at the drawback of it affecting you as well.

A more expensive backup to Argentum Masticore is Suncrusher, which shares similar benefits when using Earthlink and Vorel of the Hull Clade.

Despite the name of the deck, there is a lot of utility in the deck, and it can operate pretty well as a Tron. It is a budget-ish deck, but you can likely get the cost of the deck closer to $70 US, $45 if you remove Tezzeret, Cruel Captain.

If you want to make the deck even crazier, sub out anything for Mycosynth Golem, Affinity will double stack, and this will effectively make Ramos free to cast.
