Bringer of the White Dawn

Creature — Bringer

Trample

At the beginning of your upkeep, you may return target artifact card from your graveyard to play.

Extort is the only keyword ability that does this, but there's also Trinisphere and Charmed Pendant which have no colour identity because the mana symbols again are in their reminder text.

The Bringer cycle including Bringer of the White Dawn have a WUBRG colour identity, but imagine if each of them had a keyword ability:

Bringer (You may pay WUBRG rather than pay this spell's mana cost.)

Then, the Bringer of the White Dawn would be legal to run in mono white decks.

I have replaced Bringer of the White Dawn with Skyward Eye Prophets, since I feel that that card would be most useful in a deck such as this one, which needs as many sources of card advantage as it can have, and doing so lowered the average converted mana cost of this deck from 4.58 to 4.53, which is a very good thing.

I have replaced Bringer of the Red Dawn with Dominus of Fealty, since the dominus is superior in the majority of situations, a replacement that lowered the average converted mana cost from 4.65 to 4.58, which is definitely a good thing.

I am next planning to replace Bringer of the White Dawn, since this deck does not have a major emphasis on artifacts, but I have not yet decided with what I shall replace that creature.

Use double square brackets around a card's name to create a reference link. It's the easiest way to make sure everyone understands what's going on with your question: Bringer of the White Dawn , Soldevi Simulacrum (for example)

You won't be able to target the artifact with the Bringer's ability. Though the triggers are put onto the stack at the same time and you get to choose the order, you have to choose targets for a trigger when it's first put onto the stack. You can't wait for other stuff to happen first. In your example this means the artifact with cumulative upkeep is still on the battlefield when it's time to choose a target for Bringer of the White Dawn's triggered ability.

The strongest bringers in general are probably Bringer of the Black Dawn and Bringer of the Blue Dawn.

Bringer of the Red Dawn and Bringer of the White Dawn are very strong in the right situation.

Bringer of the Green Dawn is fine. I guess...

They are upkeep triggers though so reanimating at sorc speed means they have to stick a whole turn. So while I like them I don't know if you want them for this.
